Food & beverage

A great view over the thuringian country - that is what our guest will have when visiting our beergarden and cafe on the terrace. During the summer time you will find on the menu apart from coffee, cakes and a large variety of beverages, ice cream and specialties.
Thuringian barbecue evenings are held in our beergarden during the summer months.
At our restaurant “Rasselbock” we serve national as well as international dishes.

Coming from Frankfurt A5 / Kassel A7
Take the motorway A4 direction Eisenach – Erfurt until you reach the motorway cross Erfurter Kreuz. Take the motorway A71 directions Ilmenau/Suhl until you reach the exit Suhl/Zella-Mehlis. Then take the B247 to Suhl until you reach the signs to Ilmenau. Go left direction Ilmenau and follow the main street. Be aware of the serpentines. The entrance to the hotel is situated 2km outside the city in a curve.

Coming from Nuremberg/Erlangen A73
Take the B4 direction Suhl. Coming over the B247 take the second traffic lights in the city and go right direction Ilmenau. At the next traffic lights go right direction Ilmenau and follow the main street (like above).

Coming from Würzburg A7
Take the motorway A7 direction Schweinfurt. From Schweinfurt take the A71 direction Suhl until you reach the exit Suhl/Zella-Mehlis. Then go on like described above.
