Very central location, historic building (rare in fkft), very spacious bathroom for a single room, room serviced every day, overall good ratio between quality and price (taking into account that I was given a special deal). I really hate carpet floors. Furniture could be in the same style as the building. If you like to go to bed early, be equipped with ear plugs: the area is very lively until late night, even compared to south european standards. |

the flexibility of the staff when our plane was cancelled in Chicago and we arrived one day late, the hotel management was not able/willing to consider any refund at all... even though I called from Chicago at the earliest opportunity to inform them |

We had one of the worst experiences ever at this hotel. Part of the staff does not speak English or German and none of them were friendly. We got a room back in this corner behind a secret door that looked like it had been broken into a dozen times. Tiny, cramped, uncomfortable rooms. No a/c and its very hot. Pay for breakfast. |

I like the area where is located, is the most beautifull area in Frankfurt and if you are planning enjoy night life is the perfect place. It is noisy, there are a lot of bars and pubs around, so if you are traveling and you need to rest, is not the ideal place. |

Overall, we had a very poor experience. The hotel was terribly overpriced. It´s marketed as a cozy little hotel with historical character, however; the only history in this hotel is the dated furishings and stale air. |

It was convenient for the exhibition centre with good transport connections in Frankfurt also close to all the 'old town' nightlife. Next door is a very noisy night club with loud music late into the night, 05.00am! |

When staying at a hotel, the staff is always the most important part. You can look past the little flaws (if any) of the hotel if the staff is nice. At Ritter hotel Frankfurt the staff was excellent just to say the least and I/we enjoyed staying there. the additional bed was not good. The person who slept in it decided to move the mattress and sleep on the floor in order to prevent further damages to it. But she slept well during the night so it wasn't really a problem. |

During the weekend you'd better be a pub-crawler and not want to go to bed until all pubs are closed as this hotel is smack in the midlle of half a dozen pubs and all noise comes to the rooms. So VERY central location. Also lots of great German-food restaurants right around the corner, short distance to walk to old town. Rooms need decent, darkening and noise absorbing curtains! Bathroom a bit run down, but clean. |

Close to Centre of the City Nobody was informing us about a Life Hard Rock Music Club on ground floor of the hotel. Very loud rock music until 5.00 am, every day! Impossible to find sleep. Only excuses by management. No reasonable compensation for lost sleep. |
