This picturesque half-timbered house in the Westerwald region was built in 1753 and became renowned in the year of 1818 as the birthplace of F.W. Raiffeisen. The well-restored architecture in the interior of the house offers a unique atmosphere. The rooms, which combine tradition and comfort, invite to day-dream. Very nice hotel. Staff is really friendly and will help with all possible questions. Restaurant is exquisite - let the chef guide you, his choice will be divine. The ambiente is absolute top.

Goed, degelijk hotel. Het hotel straalt een echte familiale sfeer uit. Een hotel om de natuur te verkennen. Het eten is zeer voortreffelijk Als u op de bovenste verdieping uw slaapkamer hebt zijn er nogal veel trappen te doen. Het personeel is evenwel zeer gedienstig.

Zeer gastvrij. Historisch vakwerkpand met veel karakter (handbeschilderde antieke bedden!) Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met allemaal zelfgemaakte producten (dus geen jammetjes in plastic cupjes, maar aardbeienjam uit eigen tuin en vlees van de beste slager uit het dorp). Fiets kan in de garage gestald worden. Helaas ligt de Alte Vogtei aan een doorgaande weg in een wat saai dorpje, maar de omgeving is wel prachtig om te wandelen, mountainbiken en (stevig) fietsen.

Небольшой и очень уютный отель. Очень доброжелательные хозяева. Хороший мишленовский ресторан. Расположение на центральной улице. Шумновато для загородного отдыха.

Das haus ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch. Es war kurz fur weinachten und das haus war zauberhaft decoriert. Der Anbau hinten ist zwar neuer aber den Zimmer dort sind auch mit echte antik Möbel eingerichtet. Was mir am meisten gefallen hat war die Küche. Ich walte den Gansebrust mit Kastanien und war eine der beste den ich gegessen habe. Das frustuck ist eifach aber passend zur preis. Ich kom bestimt wieder.

L'hôtel fait partie de la chaîne "hôtels romantiques" c'est pourquoi nous l'avons choisi. Chambre très confortable et excellente nourriture. A notre avis cet hôtel est une très bonne étape mais nous ne le recommanderions pas pour un séjour.

Die familienathmosphäre u freundilchkeit,pers. gespräche, guter service,die liebevoll gestaltete einrichtung in gemütlicher fachwerkumgebung,urig. gutes frühstücksbuffet. für meien mann waren die matrazen zu weich(rückenschmerzen); der kaffee war leider nicht so gut.

Zeer leuk hotelletje met authentieke sfeer. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Verzorgde kamer met heel goed bed ! Lekker gegeten à la carte. Ook ontbijt volledig naar wens. Zou dit hotel zéker aanbevelen !

Historisch romantisches Flair. Autos fahren zu dicht am Zimmer zur Straßenseite vorbei, was den Schlaf durch den Verkehrslärm beeinträchtigt.

Hier ist Moderne und Altes hervorrragend kombiniert. Man fühlt sich in die Zeit versetzt, wo dieses Gebäude errichtet wurde. Das Highlight ist die Küche. Eine kleine aber mit hervorragenden Speisen versehene Speisekarte. Selten so gut gegessen. Hier stimmte alles. Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein ganz kleiner Punkt: Beim Frühstück sollte vielleicht das Wurstangebot etwas reichlicher sein. Ansonsten ok.

Viel Charme und Geschichte eines ehrwürdigen Hauses, etwas für Romantiker, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, wunderbares Essen, die Hotelbesitzer sind sehr freundlich und um ihre Gäste sehr bemüht, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Fast wie in einem Museum. Das hat einen besonderen Flair. Wir haben den kurzen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden das Hotel jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Sonderwünsche wurden prompt erfüllt, das Frühstück war Klasse. Insgesamt ein sehr liebevoll geführtes Hotel wo man sich wohl fühlt.
