Everything, location (closeness to Markt Sq), room size, breakfast (eggs to order), and evening dining, service (by owner and all staff), setting (in wonderful atmosphere of Rothenburg - on the Romantic Road). |

We stayed without troubles. Wireless LAN was available and the hotel was located at the good place in Rothenburg. The TV was out of order, but we dont need it in Rothenburg. |

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful from the moment we arrived! I had called ahead to tell them we were going to arrive later then expected and mentioned we were celebrating my daughter's birthday during our stay. So they surprised us with a special table for our dinner ready upon our arrival with a darling table decorations and a candle! My daughter was delighted! She even got to choose our room! What a charming place to create memories to last a lifetime! Thank you! |

Very central location, just a 3 min. walk to the main square. Nice convenience store / toy train shop right across. Parking just 2 blocks away. Room & bath really spacious and updated. Cozy & quiet at night. Good breakfast - even better dinner (don't miss the duck!) Free internet, too. It's a historic building, and does not have a lift/elevator - but they have a nice porter/valet/waiter who took our luggage and car straight away. Prepare to climb the carpeted (though creaky) stairs and walk through a long hallway to get to some of the rooms. |

Great service by Alex; the resteraunt staff were good also. The room was very nice and roomy. One of the staff -- female-- was a little standoffish and not helpful. |

The location was outstanding. Very hard to cool off rooms, the beds are harder than normal even for German beds. |

Excellent attendind staff; great rooms (cleanliness, spacious). Meals at the hotel (breakfast, dinner) were also great Wish they had a lift but they do provide a porter to get the bags to/from rooms which pretty much negates not having a lift as a serious concern |

The hostess was polite and very helpful. The hotel was in easy walking distance to the best quarters. Also seen in many of the drawings for sale of lovely buildings around the town. The breakfast is very good and comes with the room. I think they should have a gift shop. |

Out of six visits to Rothenburg over the years, our third stay. Clean rooms, attentive staff, excellent food, parking. Our absolute favorite destination in Germany. |

The 'character' and overall look and feel of the place. It is refreshing to stay in a hotel that retained all the old charm that is and should be typical of Europe - that's what we as tourists look for...The location was excellent, too. An elevator/lift would be nice - but then, the charm of the old place will be lost...besides, the owner was very helpful in taking our luggages himself to our room We even got to pick our room. |

This hotel is perfectly located within the city walls and a short block walk from the center town square. You can't get a more picture perfect setting than this hotel. The staff bend over backwards for you and really make you feel welcome. DO eat dinner in this hotel as well, the food is outstanding and made by chef/owner. I love this hotel and would not consider staying at another one in this town. It was my second time in this hotel and I can't say enough about it! |

A rarity on today's world of hotels with plastic key-cards and impersonable service, this hotel had old world charm in buckets. The building and interior is beautiful, lovely friendly staff and service with a smile. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a unique experience ina town that is renowned for it's own uniqueness. A return is definitely on the cards. Book now or miss the opportunity to turn back the clock to a more gentle era and relaxed atmosphere. |

Excellent, friendly staff. Good location in the centre of the Old City. Highly recommended Restaurant in the Hotel. Dinner at the Restaurant as well as breakfast was excellent. Free wireless Internet. Nice old charm german hotel. We had a room facing the street - a bit noisy in the evenings if the window is kept open. |
