A charming, unique, beautiful hotel facility. Wonderful dining in beautiful restaurants with excellent food. The staff was highly professional yet very friendly and helpful. Our stay at this hotel was truly memorable. Location in downtown Bamberg was ideal.

Parking space is very limited.

Lovely, very quiet hotel with the nicest European hotel rooms we've seen yet! No children were there when we were which made it even more quiet and romantic. The location is perfect for walking Bamberg. The underground parking was very nice since there's little street parking. The staff, breakfast, quick service requests, sauna, and value all exceeded my expections! What a treasure of a place in the middle of Bamberg!

Friendly staff and clean with unique decor

Price was high for Bamberg and suite just had skylights, no windows. On a chair you got a great view of city, which is beautiful.

Well maintained hotel situated in the heart of Bamberg. Free Wifi (not "really" available in the restaurant and breakfast area). Room was great, fresh, modern, nice size and extremely clean.

Restaurant is rather poor for the standard of the hotel. The entrance looks like the backdoor kitchen entrance. A rather useless fountain which just makes noise sits in the middle of the restaurant.

No local parking arrangements through the hotel, but there is plenty of local parking within one to two blocks of hotel.

From the exterior it was very charming, the interior was updated and modern. It was a forward thinking hotel with energy saving features. Good for them. Everything was very comfortable.

The selection of wall paint was not holding up very well. The walls around the door entry and switches were dirty (showing signs of wear and tear )...maybe some textured, washable wall covering or washable paint would help.

We were seeking information in Bamberg on ancestors in 1800's. Location was excellent for this research. Staff was helpful, meals were very good. We had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was fine, good location, the price was according to the service, the personal was Ok.

I didn´t like that I made the reservation with your service, Booking,com and I settled that I wanted a NO smoking room. Instead, they gave me a smoking room and when I complained, they told me they could not do anything because I have done the booking with you and you don´t pas the specification. So, either I never again use your service and do it directly or they are just lieying. Really sorry, as the hotel was fine. I won´t fill the next questions, as I would like to have an explanation first. I think may be you have to get more organized with the hotels.

Hotel has great location close to the city center, with good (paid) city parking garages very close. Messerschmitt is indeed very romantic hotel with its stylishly decorated rooms and a bit "good old times" atmosphere. They have excellent beds. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Also restaurant is nice and romantice place to eat with good cuisine.

Just a small and only one recommendation - there could be real hair shampoo in the rooms, because 2in1 liquid body and hair soaps makes hair too dry. Anyway, our stay was excellent!

Nice staff and very good service...breakfast buffet is really good...bed is comfortable...clean rooms and bathrooms.... Generally, very good and highly recommended!

ich war schon zum zweiten Mal dort und finde die Lage ideal sehr freundliches Personal gutes Frühstücksbüffet Parkmöglichkeit im gegenüberliegenden Parkhaus

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet. Separate Toilette fand ich gut. Selbst bei gekippten Fenster war der Straßenverkehr des nachts zu ertragen.Super zentrale Lage!

Frühstücksbüffet nicht schlecht, aber eher durchschnittlich und passt nicht zum Preisniveveau. Die Bar ist angenehm, aber leider immer wenig besucht; die Decke müsste mal wieder geweißelt werden.

sehr schöne Suite, sehr geräumig, wunderbares Restaurant

+ Die Lage ist optimal für eine Stadt-Besichtigung + Sehr zuvorkommendes, freundliches Personal (So etwas wird in der deutschen Hotellerie leider immer seltener). + Gutes Frühstücksbuffet + Sehr sauberes, grosses, ordentliches Zimmer mit schönem, grossem Bad. Dass es keine echte Dusche sondern "nur" eine Badewanne mit Dusche gab - darüber kann ich getrost hinwegsehen + / - Parken im Zentrum einer Altstadt wie Bamberg ist naturgemäß ein Problem, so auch hier. Jedoch ist ein öffentliches Parkhaus nur 100m entfernt und mit 8 €uro/Tag auch sehr zivil gepreist. Diese 100m Entfernung liegen entgegen der Einbahnstrasse sodass man, wenn man erstmal bis zum Hotel vorgefahren ist, eine "Rundfahrt" von ca. 2km rund um die Stadt machen kann um dorthin zu gelangen. Wirklich kein Problem, ist auch leicht zu finden - wollte es einfach mal erwähnen.

- Bei geöffnetem Fenster war unser Zimmer leider zu laut durch Verkehr (geschlossen hingegen ist es sehr ruhig) - Die Sauna ist arg klein. Zwar ist der ganze Bereich liebevoll hergemacht und sauber - aber einfach zu klein um den Namen "Wellnessbereich" zu verdienen. Für die Preisklasse hätte ich einfach mehr erwartet.
