The location near both the central station and the Rhine landing jetties. This makes this an economically better choice for anyone wishing to visit Rudesheim which is connected to Bingen by a regular ferry service. The cleanliness of the property in general and the rooms in particular. We got the feeling that our room had only recently been refurbished. There was an excellent choice at breakfast which was taken in relaxing surroundings. We hope to return to the Rhine for the Rhine in Flames celebrations and would definitely consider the Römerhof.

Not the hotel itself but we did find it difficult to find restaurants nearby for dinner.

This was my third stay at Hotel Römerhof. I belong to an organization that meets at the end of October each year in Bingen. The city's location is absolutely beautiful. The hotel has been well refurnished and the proprietor is a pleasant young man in his early 20s. It is located on a hill very near the main train station in Bingerbrück, a quick walk from the heart of town. The rooms are practical, functional, and clean. Breakfast was provided and was typical of German hotel breakfasts: coffee, bread rolls and several kinds of bread, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit, cereals. I plan to stay there again next year.

I seem to recall having scrambled eggs there in my previous visits, but there were not any this time. But my memory could be wrong, and so I cannot complain about anything.

Staff were excellent. Hotel was near the Train Station (Rhein) one. Everything was good.

Most of the sights were on the other side of the river but it was a short work.

Even for a solo traveller, the single room was quite compact. However, the bathroom was a good size

Friendly staff, good sized room. Fairly close to the centre which lacks attractions. Even though the wine fest was on, it was closed by the time we returned from dinner across the Rhine in Rüdesheim.

Breakfast offerings were standard at best, and the lack of a residents' bar was regretted.

This is the first time in my life that I am complaining about an hotel, so please take this seriously: Very old room and bathroom, strange smell in the whole room (I was told the whole hotel was non-smoking: the room smelled and looked as if it was a smoker's room), uncomfortable bed, very dirty curtains and carpets, internet connection very poor (working was impossible as the internet was too weak and disconnected every few seconds. when it finally connected, it had almost no strength), water in the room costs 1,80 € (which is extortionate for a very old hotel that costs 55,00 € per night) In sum: Bad price-quality ratio, disappointing stay in the hotel

We had two rooms, one at the back and one at the front. The hotel is situated on a busy roadcrossing, so only in the night the rooms at the front are relatively quiet. But what was much worse that the hotel late in the evening and half the night was a playground for a group of about 20 screaming and drunken young men and womenof various nationalities. The hotel was more like a runaway youth hostel. They also smoked, altough the hotel is non-smoking. Complaining at the hotel management was not possible, because the only employee left at 22 o'clock and the morning after there was another person. It may be coincidence, but you've been warned!

Close to the tain station

It is opposite the church of St Ursula, Abbess of Bingen, one of Europe's first real female polymaths and a much revered brewer.

It is on the wrong side of the tracks in a cosmopolitan part of town, uphill from the centre. All a bit plain.

Friendly and helpful at reception, free wi-fi was very useful. Rooms clean, hotel basic good value. Location near the Rhine was pleasant - but they couldn't stop the rain!

Convenient for the main station especially using the new footbridge and/or lift then a short walk 5 minutes ... The reception staff were very helpful and arranged an early breakfast on our day of departure.

Location is terrible, busy uphill corner, traffic noise is terrible. Worst stay we have had period

We stayed here on May 5th as we were attending a concert at the alte-stadthalle in bingen. The hotel was less than a 10 minute walk to the town and to the concert hall. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Brekfast was good and set us up for the day. Price was reasonable.

Hotel staff were kind and friendly.

We chose the Hotel Roemerhof principly because it had Wifi throughout the hotel but also because it seemed to be a reasonable price for a good location. On arrival we found the staff very friendly especially the owner, breakfast was excellent, large choice, well pressented and not just the usual ham and cheese. If we are in this area again we will deffinately book this hotel.

Centraal gelegen, snel overal naar toe te rijden. Ruime 2-persoonskamer, alles gerenoveerd.

Geen plaats om 's avonds nog even te zitten en wat te drinken. Zijn wel bezig met een café aan te bouwen.

Hartelijke ontvangst. Redelijk grote kamer met comfortabele bedden. Toilet niet in de badkamer.

Gedateerd hotel. Beperkt ontbijtbuffet.
