The hotel offers fair prestations for the price.
But the neighbourhood is really bad! Junkies, dealers and hookers are just around the corner. We parked few meters from the hotel and the first thing we saw was a large group of junkies (some injecting drugs right in front of us).
Friendly, multi-lingual staff, city centre location, clean rooms and hotel, parking space, efficiency.
The area around the hotel is a big dodgy, especially late at night, however not intimidating.
The price, the size of the room, cable TV. Loved the breakfast. Short walk from the Hauptbahnhof.
The street it's on is a bit seedy, but look, if I want a hotel in glamorous surroundings, I won't be paying Rossija prices.
The room was fair with the price i paid.
Male staff who was at night was really unkind. He pretended like there is no water boiler and water at hotel, and when i asked about supermarket he kept saying around here i don't know like that.
The customer service on reception first night was not good... Didn't try to explain the rules clearly... And was not polite but the rest of the service was Very good...
The Parking The Room The breakfast
The Breakfast Waitress who was on the phone all the time The absence internet connexion - I paid but noone wanted to understand that there was no connexion
Room was good and clean. Breakfast was normal. Staff were good.
Wifi not free. Paid for it but couldn't get it in some parts of the room. Didn't have any day travel pass like some other hotels in Frankfurt On a dirty street full of porn shops and gambling shops.
Staff was very warm and helpful. Breakfast was included. Location to train station very good.
Location was very close to train station but was in a neighborhood of xxx businesses. I felt safe but I was travelling with kids. You also had to pay for WIFI but we found a Starbucks a couple of blocks away with outdoor seating that was nice.
Location is good
The room was very comfortable and big. It was very close to the Central Station. It is good if you are only staying one night and you have an early train to catch the next day. Free breakfast, but you have to pay for the internet. Close to the hotel there are a supermarket Rewe and a tram station if you don't feel like walking.
We could hear the street noise, even though our window faced the inner yard and we slept with the window closed.
the internet connection in my room was really poor and low speed. i paid
5 mins by walking from main station.
The rooms clean and roomy. The breakfast good. On site parking, which is very important as you would not feel safe leaving it outside. Having a lift was a nice change.
Felt very unsafe in street outside hotel security grill. Sex shops and bars all around. Hotel staff not very interested in assisting with information. Very difficult to get their attention to let you out or in the security grill. It is quite annoying trying to get them to let you in. They don't seem to understand they are in the hospitality industry.
Friendly staff. Breakfast included good rate clean rooms
No coffee/tea facilities. No refrigerator
It was really an awful experience in this hotel. First thing you will not able to find is how to enter in this hotel. After that you will meet the staff who is really non cooperative. And then you will find that the room is allocated on 5th Floor and lift works only till 4th floor. Enough is when you wanted to relax and find that your bed is broken :-(. Lastly the bad breakfast. No variety. No staff. Will never stay again here.
Rooms are far better than what you'd expect when you first see the hotel from outside. Our room was simple but clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was also good. If you're looking for a decent low-priced accommodation near train station and nothing else, hotel Rossija is the place to go.
The area where hotel is located is quite dodgy, definitely not suitable for young women to walk alone in the dark. Hotel itself looks safe though and being so close to main train station makes up for the surrounding. The walls seemed to be quite thin as well, but since it's a small hotel, there's not too many traffic and we managed to sleep through the night without hearing any noise.
Nearby from central station and services ,metro
Location (opposite metadon centre) and in the middle of redlight district. Noise from inside of the hotel and is located above the metro line so every 3 minutes hotel vibrates.
Constant noise and inability to sleep.
Central to railway and city
Area was very sleazy with a lot of human excrement everywhere. Felt very uncomfortable in the area
Wide, very comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Just a few minutes walk from the station and city center. I appreciated the soft atmosphere of an authentic little piece of Russia, just nearby the European downtown.
the neighborhood is not properly defined as "residential", but requires no more than a few minimum precaution. I have not experienced too much discomfort. The hotel is divided from the street by a huge gate (you must ring the intercom and wait on the sidewalk). One flaw: the common areas (hallways and landings) should be soundproof.
good location, safety, the stuff is very kindly to help us.
Hotel was excellent very clean near the saltation only problem it was in the middle of Red Light area and there were homeless on the streets outside. The hotel is situated away from the road behind electric gates once inside there was no problem. Typical German breakfast cold meat and cheese very substantial
Personality in my room, breakfast, Some of the staff member speak Russian, so that it was very easy for me to understand everything.
Nearly nothing, all what I want to say was marked above.
Proximity to train station
Seedy neighbourhood. The street is lined with sex clubs, casinos, homeless, and people doing drugs. Staff spoke very poor english or none at all. Wifi was not free as advertised, but an additional cost.
