It is at the foot of the Fichtelberg mountain in the Ore Mountains. The family-run Hotel-Gasthof Rotgiesserhaus has a Mediterranean sauna area with tepidarium, steam grotto, and atrium. Massages are available here. All of the Rotgiesserhaus's bright rooms offer a traditional design and private bathrooms. The Hotel Rotgiesserhaus's restaurant serves game, vegetarian meals, and traditional food from the Ore Mountains. There is also a small wine cellar and a beer garden. Staff were very helpful and friendly although some had limited English - not uncommon in that area. Well-maintained and clean hotel.

Preise für Essensqualität zu hoch: Sülze mit fettigen Bratkartoffeln war für 8,50€ (17,-dm !) eine Kinderportion. Es war halt wie im "Osten", wo man überwiegend für relativ viel Geld wenig auf dem Teller hat. Frühstück war ok.

Sehr gut geführtes Haus mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Rustikal, doch sehr sauber. Gute Küche mit Wild und deftiger Erzgebirge Kost. Super Früstücksbuffett, von der Quali duraus mit großen Hotels vergleichbar. Zimmer waren ausreichend, es hat nichts gefehlt.

Kleines, freundlich geführtes Familienhotel. Mitarbeiter überaus herzlich und hilfsbereit. Deftige, regionale Küche und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Parkplatz direkt neben dem Haus. Alles sehr sauber. DIe TV-Geräte bedürften einer Aktualisierung
