Central with private parking. Very efficient and friendly receptionist. Excellent breakfast.

Very little. Staff mostly friendly on surface but totally incompetent. Only really positive items were general cleanliness and breakfast.

Total incompetence of staff and defensive lack of apology of senior staff member. Too few staff in general: got impression they were operating on a shoestring. Requests acknowledged but not fulfilled. Two hangers in closet: asked FOUR times for more. Told yes each time; never came. Room not cleaned first day: all sorts of invalid excuses and told too bad as cleaning crew had gone home. Said would do it myself but not pay full rate for day. All of a sudden they produced a poor tired woman whom they called back in. She made beds and quickly cleaned sink. Another day they forgot towels. Took two days to get bulb replaced in bedside lamp. And free wifi broken when we arrived until after we left. I could see this as a mediocre three- star, but four-stars are inexplicable. Decor drab, public space almost nonexistent. Will NEVER GO AGAIN OR RECOMMEND IT.

The roo was big and quiet, nice view to main railway station, good beds and pillows, very clean.

The book-out time was exceptional, at 11 A.M. We did not know that - expected that it would be the normal at noon. We were called from the reception at 11.30 when I was taking a shower. When we left the room and went to reception the girl there told us that she will charge us some exctra since we were late!!! I could not believe what she said. We explained that we did not know their exceptional booking-out time, and that we were not able to leave the room immediately after her call since I was in shower. Despite of that, she charged us 15 euros extra!!! Never happened anything like this in any hotel! They seem still to be following the ddr tradition in this hotel! We left the hotel as very angry. We will never go back!!

Spacious rooms, facilities in room excellent - microwave, hob. fridge. All areas of hotel very clean.

Te room 306 has a seperated large bedroom with a nice view Te room 316 is big like a house!! Nice and clean hotel Nice typical German breakfast

Smells at the hall. No internet connection at the time we are stay (very bad Due to our stay)

Room was spacious. Breakfast was very good. Very convent to the old section of Leipzig.

Room was very stark, a little more light would be good.

Although the room is lacking in atmosphere it is quite practical and spacious, and a stone's throw from Leipzig's main sights. It has a little kitchenette and is well heated, which was crucial during our visit in snowy January. It has also a reasonable (open air) parking lot nearby.

The staff is friendly but a bit confused and could use some language training

The staff was very impolite. it was very unpleasant to stay in this hotel during whole my stay. I even got the name of the staff to write in here. but I will not do it. I don't recomment this hotel at all.

No internet connection. Wi fi did not work at all and receptionist was very ruse when I tried to explain the problem.

Excellent location near railway station, city center, stores. Good breakfast, quietly, clean and comfortable.

Location and value for money

They claim that my payment to booking.com wasn't received and I have to pay to the hotel directly !!!!! My record shows that I paid to Booking.com and now double paying to the hotel as well

The outstanding memory of my stay at the Royal International in Leipzig was the friendly, hospitable staff,breakfast room, cleaning staff and above all the receptionists who helped with translation,city guides and generally friendly manner,This was important to me as a lone traveller with little German in an unfamilliar city, The food was good,the hotel was clean and centrally located but the highlight had to be the friendly staff,

It would have been nice if food was available in the hotel in the evening,even light snacks for people who check in late and may be too tired yo go out for a meal. The tv in the room was'nt working but this was not a big issue with me and I didnt notify reception untill I was checking out.

location to the train station location - walking distance - to shopping and market stalls kitchen facilities were fantastic

Bed had solid timber sides which made getting out difficult if you have mobility issues. Wanted to use the shower head in the shower while standing up - no shower curtain... We had to wait 40 minutes past the designated check in time for our room to be ready - painful when we had an appointment to get to

Pleasant atmosphere. Position convenient for station and places of interest. Good - sized room and bathroom. Good breakfast buffet included.

Convenient location. Reasonable price. Back rooms are quiet. Rooms are a decent size.

The beds are too narrow and too hard. Front and side rooms are very noisy. Decor is very utilitarian. It lacks character.

Good location in the city center. The room was large and comfortable. The private parking is just a few blocks far and I suggest to take a place as there is no public parking in the neighborhood.

The wifi was supposed to be in the whole hotel, but we find a very poor signal, only in the lobby and on the stairs at the first floor! The receptionist told us it was a technical problem, I hope they fixed it because it was really uncomfortable.

Good location opposite railway station. Semi-secure parking (but a little expensive). Very friendly and efficient staff. Good large room with cooking facilities and electric kettle (but no tea/coffee, sugar, milk provided). Excellent berakfast.

No bath tub (even though this as advertised and there seems to be only one room on each floor with a tub. Wi-fi does not reach most rooms but very good in bar and dining areas.

A good budget hotel offering excellent value for money accommodation. The room was well equipped, spacious and stylishly presented. The bes were comfortable, there was a sofa, chairs, sink, microwave & hob and a comprehensively stocked mini bar. Delicious breakfast, with room service available.

Wifi was advertised, but was only then accessible in lobby. Decor in corridors not tastefully chosen for my taste (purely a personal opinion). . No air conditioning in room - tends to be stuffy in summer months. Traffic and noise from building operations if windows are opened.
