The staff was very kind !

They asked me to pay 150 euro in advance for the mini bar(50 euro per day) just to be sure that we will not use anything from mini bar and didnt pay!!! It wasnt written anywhere when I booked the hotel !!! that was the policy and I believe that the hotel (also booking) owe to inform the costumers about the extra cost ! Also the manager was on meeting and didnt find anyone responsible (exept from the reception) to complain..

A lovely hotel, friendly & helpful staff. Great Location. Luxury and Comfort. Clean and Brand New. Rich finishes and details internally. Really enjoyed time spent within.

Room was clean and tidy. Even though the hotel is very large, one doesnt hear much noise.

Our room was very small. There was hardly a place to put the luggage. With 2 people in the room it was difficult to walk. Wifi is not free of charge in the room, at least not in the room category we had. Connection to the city is not as good as one would expect. One needs to walk 15min to Alex or take a tram and change. The area around the hotel is also not very interesting. Again another 15min walk before one reaches some cafes and restaurants. It's probably a good hotel when one has a car.

It was a complete and utter rip-off. We were charged 273 Euros for a 70 euro per night hotel in a converted East German block of flats. There is no possible description that can justify 4 stars. The staff were fine, friendly and capable, my complaint is the outrageous price we were charged. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless they wanted to get some idea of how life used to look in former East Berlin.

The location of this hotel is excellant for sight seeing, a 10 minute walk from the Alexander Platz. Cleanliness and service was excellant. The furnishings were modern and not tired. Buffet breakfast was good.

I felt the price of breakfast rather excessive even at the discount rate they allowed if you booked on checking in.

The rooms where fab and very comfortable, enjoyed my stay, every helpful at reception deck

Stayed last year at Christmas market time and this year was just as good except no snow ! Cannot blame the hotel for that though. Good rooms great breakfast spread, helpful staff could not be better. Excellent price using the special offer pay in advance system.

Very helpful and friendly staff in reception and at the breakfast buffet. Good location, clean rooms.

Our room felt a little cramped. The double bed consisted of two single mattresses with a massive gap and the mattresses themselves were very soft. Our room was on the second floor facing out to Otto-Braun Street, right on top of the spot where smokers gathered and all-night revellers waited for or arrived in their taxis. If you sleep with open windows, it can be a bit noisy.

The room was very nice.
