I liked that the sanitation facilities did not smell, as they did in other hotels in the East Germany. The lobby is furnished in a very bad taste. Objects of not matching colors and styles are stuck together in a room with no thoughtful arrangement. The bad treatment of Gobelin tapestries which are folded along the ceiling makes abad impression. Shabbiness and eclecticism of the furnishings definitely defy the name of the hotel and its advertisement, and not up to the price charged. I was very disappointed to see what I got for the price paid and wouldn't recommend to stay there. I was also shocked about the price of the breakfast buffet (19 Euro) and of the internet (4 Euro an hour) which were not included in the price of the room, despite the fact that the hotel was very expensive. It makes a bad impression of a rip off. |

Friendly staff, excellent location Bathroom without windows, no separate shower ( shower was located in the bath) , noisy room ( directly over the breakfast terrace). Not really a bad experience... but for this price, one expects better |

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Staff members we interacted with spoke English quite well. Hotel secured our luggage and allowed us to keep our car parked there at extra charge after check-out so we could finish our sightseeing. Lack of a swimming pool is a downside. |

We liked the hotel very much. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was very accessible to the town for sightseeing. As I recall, breakfast was very expensive, and we decided not to eat there. |

The flair of the Hotel and its location are outstanding. Everything is in walking distance. The city of Weimar itself is lively, no more DDR-like. TV-screen is really small, you have to pay for WIFI-Internet access. However, compared to all the advantages is is nearly not worth to mention. |

Ruhiges und angenehmes Ambiente. Zentrale Lage. Interessantes Haus mit einer schönen Innenarchitektur. Frühstücksraum etwas klein und "kühl" - im Widerspruch zu dem ansonsten großzügig und historisch gestalteteten Haus. |
