Centrally located on Goetheplatz Square, this historic, 4-star-superior hotel in the UNESCO city of Weimar offers modern spa facilities, gourmet cuisine, and a Viennese-style café. The Best Western Premier Grand Hotel Russischer Hof is more than 200 years old. Guests have included Tsar Alexander I of Russia and Goethe. The air-conditioned rooms and suites at the Russischer Hof are decorated in a modern or classic style. All feature satellite TV, a seating area, and a minibar. Wi-Fi is free. Fine international food is served in the Russischer Hof's Anastasia restaurant. The Wiener Kaffeehaus café has its own bakery and summer terrace. The location is perfect and although being in the middle of the beautiful city of Weimar it is very quiet. The staff was very sweet and charming. They tried to fulfill every wish and did even a bit more. Definitely to reccomend!

The fittings are beautiful. Brass and crystal. The lobby though small is elegant. I wasn't told the restaurant, Anastascia was not associated with the hotel so I could not assign the cost to my expenses. I mean you walk right into it from the lobby unless they tell you how would you know and I wasn't told until it was time to pay. The rooms are very small. VERY. But lovely, well appointed and clean. The bed was too low to the ground and way too soft.

Excellent location, on 50 metres of city centre + opera. On walking distance of the main railwaz station. Nice hotel. Breakfast of Eur 19 is expensive, there is on 30 mtr an excellent bakery, serving good coffee as well.

Location - perfect. Room - excellent - roomy and clean. Receptionist on arrival and departure - delightful, helpful and friendly - but efficient as well. Porter who parked the car on arrival also very polite and friendly. Apart from one helpful young waiter, breakfast was an absolute shambles. We were just "left" with nowhere to sit - but seats for others "reserved". Had they had previous experience of breakfast here? Tables not cleared, food dishes not re-stocked or "refreshed". Eventually (just after 8 am) an older lady appeared, allegedly in charge but she was officious and the situation did not improve. Room service- it took three visits for us to be properly served with a simple request - a tea tray with black tea bags!! Car brought up for us on the morning of our departure - but no offer of help with the luggage. The young man just stood back and watched! Some aspects of management need addressing - the best is very good but there are some clear weaknesses. Recommendation below is subject to the weaknesses being rectified.

The reason for staying here was to visit Buchenwald Concentration Camp and the bus stop to visit here (about 20 minutes) was located right outside the hotel. The city was a delight to walk around and quaint. Visit Erfurt but do not bother staying there.

A lovely historical hotel with helpful staff and a great location convenient to the centre of Weimar. The hotel is traditionally decorated, but the rooms are very comfortable with all the conveniences you would expect.

Schönes grosszügiges Zimmer, sehr zentral im Herzen von Weimar! Sauna / Solarium / Fitness: Saunabereich war dunkel und verweisst, niemand der Angestellten war greifbar! Solarium war nicht auffindbar und Fitness war auch düster und verweist! Wird das überhaupt benutzt?

Todo ha sido excelente. La ubicación es privilegiada y los servicios son compatibles con una hermosa ciudad como Weimar. El personal del front desk no puede dejar de hablar correctamente el inglés. La persona que nos atendió en el check out sólo balbuceaba el idioma. Asismimo no era del todo agradable.
