The staff are very friendly and helpful. Though maybe not in the best area of Cologne, the old town centre is only 10 or 15 mins on foot and there's an underground station 5 mins away to take you to the shopping area and Belgian district. |

Design of hotel, very modern and clean. Staff friendly and easy to communicate with for someone only speaking English. Very nice comfortable room, unique. Loved modern German look. Breakfast is very good but had some problems, really nothing. Eggs were cold and some rolls were burnt, no big deal. |

Hotel Santo is nicely decorated and rather centrally located. It is about a ten minute walk from the hotel to Dom square. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The single room was really quite small but fine for one or two nights. |

The hotel was well-equipped and clean. Breakfast was fine. The staff was helpful and responsive to questions. We had no complaints about this hotel. |

Everything - I would recommend it. It is within reasonable walking distance from the station (500-600m?). Offered free drinks on arrival which was a nice surprise. We loved the Helmut Newton photographs. I would change the way the internet was provided. Breakfast was overcrowded on weekends. |

the breakfast setting and menu (and serving staff) were excellent. Staff at the front reception area were excellent. obviously the cleaner had broken a glass as we didn't. There was glass on the vanity unit. After the next cleaning, both Chris and I got a glass splinter in our foot so we wondered just how thorough both cleaning efforts were! |

The two girls at reception were great, wish I knew their names to contact management and give the praise they deserve, especially the dark haired girl from Essen. They provided insight to the city, good directions, and special care/parking for our new car. |

Friendly and courteous staff, adequate and quick service, pleasant atmosphere, great breakfast! Though it is standard for the type of bed, the size of the bed cover (dekbed) is a bit too small for tall people. |

Functionality, comfort and attention by staff. Didn´t lack anytning essential and didn't waste anything on unnecesary luxuries. It has clearly been designed (and don´t just mean "interior design" or architecture, but function foremost) by someone who understands what one needs away from home. |

Exquisite breakfast. The best on our six city tour. Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern trendy Euro look. Location was walkable from hbf but not in prime tourist zone. Oddly, the baseboards were a bit banged up. Doesn't fit the nature of the rest of the facility. |

The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient and the hotel interior is lovely and new. The breakfast is a feast and the coffee delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at the space of the room and bathroom. The location is very convenient once you orientate yourself in Cologne - only a 5 min walk from HBH and dom cathedral, and only 2 min walk from the River. I would have liked Wireless internet in my room. I had to go to lobby to log onto internet as the room connection did not work. |
