The hotel is very central and within easy reach to Marienplatz, not too far to the Hauptbahnhof either. We checked in really late, no problem. Breakfast is a nice buffet and the room was lovely with wooden flooring. Beds comfortable and everything clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel. our room was on the first floor and faced the street. noise didn't come in at all, but it was very hot. Even for me, who is usually too cold. We also asked for an iron and ironing board, which they didn't have. |

Near to the center, 15 mins by foot. Near the English Garden, 10 mins by foot.. Really good The smooking room smells really bad and the look is old and ugky. The no smooking rooms istead are fresh and new. |

The location - very easy walk to Munich's sights!!! Also there are lots of restaurants/cafes around the hotel so very easy to grab dinner. |

However, nice university district Underhand charging full bill to Amexco card 3 days before arrival contrary to Booking.com stipulations. Discourteous receptionist. Controversial same Amexco card charge of phone bill payment. Unclean shabby soiled small elevator cubicle often used as Cargo lift with conflict between passengers vs food supplies to be carried to breakfast kitchen. Grimy torn & worn-out room carpeting. Uncomfortable steps of all sizes all over in an old makeshift building design. No English hotel info in room. Uncomfortable wooden bed. Poor feeble room lightings make impossible to work in room. Small very old TV set nearly exclusively German programs. However, nice university district |
