Friendly and not bugging staff, good location for the ones who don't want to be in the city (near the mountains, with places to hike) but not very far from center, wonderful breakfast - good taste & lots of options, free minibar, clean room, SPA possibilities, absolutely no stress. No facilities for children (no slide, swing, etc), they could have chosen better colors for the furniture (to make the feeling more like 4*) and, as a joke, not enough Muesli in the breakfast (the Muesli tasted great and all guests were continuously watching if it will reappear after being consumed).

The location. It is next to the forest and close enough to the city. Good place to get a bit of both, relaxation and nature, but also the option to use services from the city.

Very reasonable rate for a historic town in Germany. Free Internet that worked well. Free parking. Excellent Breakfast included in rate. Very friendly, efficient staff. Even with a navigator hotel is difficult to find in this historic town with a maze of narrow streets, many on-way, many construction sites.

Clean, spacious rooms in a quiet location. Good buffet breakfast. Nice view of Wernigerode Castle and the mountains. Pets allowed (extra charge of 15 euro). Check-in only after 2pm.

Ideal location for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Rooms are fairly basic and quite small but clean. Breakfast was very good and staff in restaurant were very good.

Friendliness of all staff. They were extremely helpful throughout the weekend. Free Mini bar included soft drinks only. Despite advertising free international landline telephone calls on the website, this was not possible from the room phone, and when we contacted reception they did not know anythin about the "free calls", so we did feel slightly mislead on this.

We liked our bar manager called Alexandra. She was very pleasant and helpful particularly with our German attempts at conversation. The breakfasts were excellent. We will recommend the hotel to our friends.

Staff was Friendly, room was OK. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the Wernigerode Castle. Breakfest was perfect. 15 minutes walk from City center and 25 from Main station (was not really a problem for us). No cable TV (also not important, but a problem for a 4 star hotel).

Für Familien mit Kindern nur zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer war einfach aber ausreichend eingerichtet und die Betten waren bequem. Mit dem Frühstück waren wir absolut zufrieden und es war wirklich lecker. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Abendessen war seinen Preis leider nicht wert.

номер-апартаменты прекрасен, мини-кухня очень в тему. порадовала ванна. сигнал интернета очень плохой (может, только на нашем самом верхнем этаже, не знаю). парковка маленькая. завтрак без изысков.

Ein kleines, aber feines Hotel wo alle Wünsche prompt erfüllt werden. Das Angebot die Matratze zu wechseln, ob zu hart oder zu weich.... klasse. Die Kinderfreundlichkeit war unübertroffen, alle Mitarbeiter, ob Empfang , Service oder Housekeeping, waren durchweg zuvorkommend und sehr sehr nett. Das Abendessen sowie Frühstück waren reichlich. Für meine Tochter habe ich zum Abendbrot für 2 Brötchen, Butter und reichlich Aufschnitt und Käse 3 Euro bezahlt. Bekomme ich nirgends, nicht mal bei einer Bäckerei. Die Lage direkt an der Schanze und mit Aussicht auf das Schloß, abends angeleuchtet ist super schön anzusehen. Alles in allem ein schöner, viel zu kurzer Aufenthalt.

Sehr ruhige Lage am Ortsrand ohne Durchgangsverkehr. Neubau mit sauberen, dem Preisniveau entsprechenden etwas schlichten Zimmern. Freundliches und bemühtes Personal. Grosser Frühstücksraum mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet.

Sehr freundliches Personal, großer Parkplatz, Lage direkt am Wald und Wanderwegen Unser Zimmer war sehr hellhörig und die Betten sehr hart; wir haben schlecht geschlafen.

Besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage, an einem ruhigen Hang, aber nur ein paar Gehminuten zum Stadtzentrum entfernt. Fabelhaftes Fruehstueck! Nicht allzu grosses, aber gemuetliches Zimmer. Und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal. Internet im Zimmer funktionierte nicht, aber in der Lobby gab es damit schon keine Probleme.

Für kleinere Kinder gibt es im Aussenbereich wenig Betätigungsmöglichkeiten. Um die Attraktivität auch für Familien mit Kindern zu steigern,wäre es sinnvoll,ein Spielzimmer im Haus und einen Spielplatz vor dem Haus anzulegen.
