personnel was very friendly and helpful, location in the centre of the town very appreciated,

one of two rooms was at the attic and was not equipped sufficiently, no chair, no night cupboard, limited space in the room, bathroom clean but also not equipped enough, the price 100EUR is too high for this standard of room;

The hotel was in a very convenient location and had parking. The room was recently improved and decorated and was basic but clean and good. The breakfast was fine and we would stay there again.

Friendly staff

We booked parking several weeks ahead but not available on arrival. We asked for a quiet room and we were given possibly the noisiest. Sadly would not recommend or stay again. Grossly overpriced

They were very helpful when I needed their assistance. The room was quiet and spotlessly clean. It's an old building but this adds to the ambiance. The cleaning was spotless. An awesome experience for just 48 hours in Freiburg. Just across the narrow street were a coffee house and a butcher that would prepare fresh bread rolls with all kinds of meat upon immediate request.

Rooms and bathrooms were great...in historic building with wood floors

Wifi is very spotty.

I really enjoyed the bakery next door and the river across the street.

I wasn't a fan of the high priced lounge.

The restaurant is very nice and the staff was very friendly, in particular with the children. Good breakfast, although it is not included in the room rate. The room was big for 2 adults and 3 kids and the shower was a real shower.

Even having reserved a park place, I had to move my car several times to liberate the parking, once was during my breakfast. I didn't manage to get internet access.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. We have 3 young boys and there were many times that they were very accommodating. One evening we needed to feed our boys and the out-sourced french brasserie restaurant arrange spaghetti for our sons and the hotel staff paid and allowed us to add the cost to our bill (as I didn't have Euros handy). They were great and I would definitely stay here again. Super hotel, great staff and a great location for strolling into the main town.

Close to aldstadt, city centre, but not in the midst of noise. Very good location.

Internet painfully slow. I could not stay again due to slow internet.

the 4 bed room was two beds and a half-broken sofa bed. was OK but not great to sleep in. the normal beds were really good.

limited Parking

The hotel is nice, clean and well maintained. It is well positioned 5 minutes walk from the nicest neighbourhood of Freiburg, Gerberau, and 10 minutes from the town centre.

Wi-fi wasn't working. The price including breakfast and a car park raised up to € 133, wich is a little too much for a 3 stars hotel.

Location was great, right about old center. Great stuff; clean and spacious room; windows were on a noisy street, but the weather was cold enough to keep the windows cold and the sound isolation is perfect. Although breakfast is not included, there is a fine bakery across the street where one could take a croissant and a cappuccino at a really fair price. Parking is in front of the hotel; the odd thing is that you have to leave the key at the reception, because it's only a 4-place parking space, so the reception guy has to move them around sometimes.

The hotel is charming, and in a good location to access the city and easy access to the National Park

Very large room with a lot of space. Parking available just next to the hotel. Location just a couple of blocks from the old town and very easy to arrive by car. Staff was very friendly, although didn't speak too much english, but this was not a problem.

The hotel is on a busy ,noisy crossroads, no air con so hot and airless if you shut the window. No hairdryer and the bathroom was lit by one low wattage led light, impossible to shave or make-up in.

Very good location, within easy walk of the "old town." Excellent breakfast, but not included in the room price. Very helpful, multi-lingual staff.
