Hotel Schlicker  

The location just off the Marienplatz was ideal for sight seeing and for catching the hop on hop off bus. The room was very clean and bathroom of high standard. Breakfast times were convenient and breakfast good.

The room was small but adequate. The room we had was noisy as we were in the front of the hotel and we had a window open.

I was travelling alone and had a great stay at this Hotel. Staffs are very Helpful and Friendly. Variety of Food at the Breakfast Buffet, very impressive. Great Location because it's right in the Middle of the City. A little bit noisy during the Night as it's very close to the Restaurant and Bar but if you get the room in the Court, it is OK. Highly recommend for people who loves to stay where everything is so close ..

The hotel is just few meters to the city centre and the S-bahn. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.

There're fast food outlets next both sides doors which makes much noise all the time, so ask for the rooms faced the inner yard. The bathrooms aren't well soundproofed. WiFi signal strength was extremle low on the 3rd floor.

There was not internet access

I've been a guest at the Hotel Schlicker several times in the past. This was my first visit under its new management. I enjoyed my stay as much as I had in the past. The location is one of the best in town. It's too bad that the street in front of the hotel is almost always very crowded because of popular businesses on both sides of the entrance. I hope that does not deter future guests. The hotel is very quiet, a true escape from the hubbub of the city. The location and price are fantastic compared to others in the area. I was amazed at the low non-refundable price for a single room. I've been visiting Munich for over fifty years and have seen changes in hotel rates. If you don't like to splurge, the Schlicker is the best you will find considering the location. Two minutes from the Viktualien Markt. Three minutes to Marienplatz. Go for it!

close to the center of Munich, can walk to Marien Platz, Hofbrau Haus, and Staatsoper etc..

The single bed is only fits 8 yo child. Was cold in the room. No wifi.

Very friendly helpful staff, all spoke excellent English, room comfortable but a bit on the small side, excellent breakfast, perfect location for main Christmas market and main shopping street.

The whole staff was outstanding, all very helpful. The cooks making my wife and i our morning egg omelettes was terrific. They could not do enough for us, this was our second time staying here and would do it again just a wonderful experience.

Hotel Schlicker does not offers modern, comfortably furnished rooms, are old school, with uncomfortable bed. The double large that I had, was small, with two beds close each other, with cool not cold minibar and my ipad did not find free wired internet but I did not ask lobby for it. Did not include a flat-screen tv. "Rooms facing the quiet courtyard" well, it's not a yard, it's just another building across, 20 M. There was quiet, but the problem is in the hotel not out, where you can hear everything from same floor s rooms!!! The air in room is extra dry! You can not sleep with closed window. There was a problem with hot bath water, not only in my room! The people were great, friendly, and helpful! Breakfast: the basic, not bad. Location can not be better. Expensive in my opinion το Hotel Schlicker είναι παλιό ξενοδοχείο και δεν προσφέρει σύγχρονα, άνετα επιπλωμένα δωμάτια, είναι απλά με άβολα μαλακά στρώματα. το διπλό μεγάλο δωμάτιο που είχα, ήταν μικρο, με 2 κρεβάτια- στρώματα το ένα κοντά στο άλλο. το ψυγείο δροσερό όχι κρύο. το ipad μου δεν ανίχνευσε δωρεάν ενσύρματη σύνδεση στο internet. δεν είχε το δωμάτιο μου τηλεόραση επίπεδης οθόνης. <οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να επιλέξουν δωμάτια που βλέπουν στην ήσυχη αυλή> , δεν είναι αυλή. μπετόν. σε απόσταση περίπου 20μ είναι άλλο κτήριο. είναι ήσυχα από εκείνη τη πλευρά, αλλά το πρόβλημα θορύβου είναι μεσα στο ξενοδοχείο όχι έξω. ακούγονται τα παντα!!! από δίπλα παραδίπλα…. ο αέρας στο δωμάτιο είναι πολύ ξηρός, με κλειστό παράθυρο είναι αδύνατον να κοιμηθεί κανείς. υπήρξε πρόβλημα με το ζεστό νερό, όχι μόνο στο δικό μου δωμάτιο. οι υπάλληλοι ήταν εξαιρετικοί, φιλικοί και ευγενικοί. βασικό πρωινό. τοποθεσία η καλύτερη! ακριβό κατά τη γνώμη μου.
