excellent location, very good breakfast, very clean and good wifi signal. our room faces street and there was road work outside while we were there but didn't feel too noisy. very good restaurant just opposite hotel.

Superb location, so convenient for the Marienplatz, historic sites, the food market, shopping and the excellent public transport network. Friendly and helpful staff, very quiet, clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast. The hotel does not provide other meals but that is not a problem as there are dozens of restaurants within a few minutes walk. We hope to visit Munich again and we will certainlu use Hotel Schlicker.

We loved the convenience of being in the heart of the city. We would definitely choose Hotel Schlicker again.

Difficult to find a way to the hotel with all the construction and closed streets, but that won't last forever.

I loved this hotel! The staff, the location, the free breakfast and wifi, everything was exactly what I look for in a hotel. I even enjoyed hanging out in my room at night because the room was cozy.

Honestly I don't think there was anything I didn't like.

Location was very good -- right in the centre of the city. Breakfast was included & was excellent.

Internet connection from our room was impossible. We had to sit in the very narrow lobby to use it. Noise from outside could be heard all night long.

Stayed here for 4 days. The location was awesome. I didn't have to interact much with the staff as there wasn't much to ask for: everything was in its place. I forgot my shaiving kit and the reception person provided it 'immediately' after I requested for it. Very nice shower. I stayed in a Large Single Room, which is a bit small for me. But it was clean, nice and comfortable.

There is no in-room-dining service (there are *many* restaruants right outside the hotel though). This wasn't really a problem. But, one night, when I didn't have any energy left to go out in the snow, I wished a dine-in facility is available. Secondly, there is a ancient crt tv that shows very hazy channels (remember the transmission in late-80s ?). I don't see much tv, but for those who do, this may be a point to consider.

Very central. Minutes walking to all downtown sites, especially museums, churches and fresh food market.

Tiny rooms. Book off-street due to construction noise for next few months on main street below

The best breakfast i have eaten in Germany. The location is perfect!

The staff made me feel right at home. Sending me off with a picnic lunch on departure day was beyond the call of duty. I have sung Schlickers praises to all . I look forward to my next stay. Sincerely, Marlies, New York, NY

What I loved the most in this hotel is its ideal location ,walking distance to Marienplatz or to Hofbräuhaus the famous and must visit beer house is 1-2 min ,The German Museum a bit further but still not far and of course very close to transportation means , also there is a taxi square right outside the hotel. The nice - fresh - quality breakfast and service from the lovely and so kind lady who serves coffee and take good care of customers overall , And the great ,very friendly & helpful staff especially at the reception and the cleaning personnel.Also very clean and comfortable room.

Not a problem but more for practical reasons it would be better if there was a shelf or/and hangers for customers personal stuff in the bathroom as it is small (in the single room).

The location is perfect for a visit to the city.

A few English language channels would have been nice.

The location was PERFECT for seeing Christmas markets; the concierge was incredibly helpful; the staff were all friendly; the rooms clean. It was a GREAT experience, and I hope to return.

I wasn't that impressed by the quality of the food at breakfast; otherwise, everything was wonderful.
