Wonderful location . My husband had a dental problem and upon check in I asked at the desk for a dentist. He said he would call for an appointment. By the time we got to our room ,the appointment was made. We went right away. The office was two doors away from the hotel. The problem was fixed and we were sightseeing by 1:00 pm. Very nice breakfast room and good selection at breakfast for any nationally. I would choose this location again.

The location just off the Marienplatz was ideal for sight seeing and for catching the hop on hop off bus. The room was very clean and bathroom of high standard. Breakfast times were convenient and breakfast good. The room was small but adequate. The room we had was noisy as we were in the front of the hotel and we had a window open.

Location is excellent Rooms can be noisy, as hotel is situated between a Mc Donalds and Burger King restaurant, If booked, and paid in advance you need to pay a lot for an upgrade to be moved to a quiter part of the hotel. Breakfast is prepared in advance and food isn't fresh and crisp.

Great location about 200 metres from Marienplatz. Within easy walking distance of many attractions including the Hofbrauhaus. Very comfortable and clean. Bedroom a bit small but adequate. Fridge. Bed comfortable and bathroom clean. Breakfast room large and with huge selections of food all very fresh and lovely. Staff throughout spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Schlicker has the most perfect location to experience central Munich being one block from Marienplatz. The rooms are recently renovated, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is among the best that I have enjoyed in Europe. But what makes this hotel stand out are the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who were happy to advise and answer a range of questions. My family and I will definitely return to this hotel!

The whole staff was outstanding, all very helpful. The cooks making my wife and i our morning egg omelettes was terrific. They could not do enough for us, this was our second time staying here and would do it again just a wonderful experience.

Excellent location: only a few minutes by foot to Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt and many restaurants. Comfortable rooms in an ancient but well maintained building. Excellent and complete breakfast. Helpful staff. Some of the rooms are very small.

The front desk staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants and shops. They pointed everything out on the city map for us. The hotel faces a busy street, but we had a nice quiet room overlooking the courtyard. This hotel is located within easy walking distance of the historical sites we wanted to see in Munich.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Don't be put off by the fast food joints either side of the hotel, once you're in the hotel you wouldn't know. (Plus they have free wi-fi) I stayed in a larger room, at an extra cost, so I can't comment about the standard double, but mine was great. The breakfast better than other places we stayed at during our tour of Germany. Hotel staff were always very helpful and the hotel had parking, although at an extra cost. It was also the only hotel we found that had tea & coffee making facilities in the room during our trip, which was nice. I will be going back to Munich at some time and will be planning to stay here. Only a very minor thing but the door to the bathroom is made of glass and whilst frosted, doesn't leave much to the imagination. It doesn't help when the toilet is in direct eyesight from the bed, unless you like that kind of thing of course.

The three best things about Hotel Schlicker are its central location in old town, the breakfast and the room we had was air conditioned. It was warm (95F) while we were there and the air conditioning was heaven, especially at night. You can't beat the location and the breakfast was outstanding, so many choices! The staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Friends of ours travelled with family (Including small children) and recommended the hotel before we left for Munich. It was just my husband and I and we will definitely stay at Hotel Schlicker again.
