Great location. Beautiful castle. Rooms modern and clean. Staff were a bit cold, unfriendly. We were not given the wifi code when we checked in. When we asked at reception, we were told the internet guy had gone home and they couldn't help us! Made the imac in the room a bit pointless. When we checked out there was no "did you enjoy your stay?" Not even a smile. Expect a bit more from 4 star. Breakfast was good but service a bit disorganized. We planned to go hiking but the hotel were not able to give us any suggestions/maps. Just a cycling map which was no use at all. Strange when hiking is on the website as something to do in the area. Generally a nice hotel but with a few lacks. 4 star rating is correct, not more.

Es ist schon ein besonderes Gefühl, in einer alten Burg zu übernachten. Das Hotel ist tadellos. Das Treppensteigen (leider in einer echten Burg unumgänglich) strengt schon etwas an.

Das gesamte Schloss war super toll restauriert. Die moderne Ausstattung mit dem alten Gemäuer hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Hervorragender Service, große, modern eingerichtete Zimmer in historischem tollen Ambiente. Wer hier etwas findet, sucht die Nadel im Heuhaufen :-)

Besonders gefallen hat mir die Mischung zwischen dem sehr gepflegten äußeren Erscheinungsbildes des Schlosses und der sehr stilvollen und geschmackvollen Inneneinrichtung sowohl des öffentlichen Hotelbereiches als auch die Zimmereinrichtung. Der Restaurantbesuch bleibt in guter Erinnerung, weil das Personal sehr aufmerksam war und die gewählten Speisen jeden Cent wert waren. In Summe ein perfekter Hotelaufenthalt.

Erlesene, aufwendige Innenarchitektur. Netter kleiner Park. Gute und preiswerte Küche 1) Eine dicke Plastikfolie unterm Bettlaken führt dazu, beim Aufwachen im eigenen Saft zu liegen- ekelig. Das kenne ich nur von Billighotels. Ein "Liegelind" im Gesäßbereich wäre ok, wenn ich so deutliche Vorschläge bringen muss. 2) Ein Fernseher für Nachrichten wäre besser als ein Super-Designer-PC, der umständliches Studium der Bedienungsanleitung erfordert, dazu hat man abends wenig Lust.

gruoßes Zimmer, gute Aussattung, Fenster im Badezimmer!!!!!!!!!!!!, sehr ruhig, gutes FRühstück, tolles Ambiente Treppenaufgang zum Zimmer mit Koffer, Laptop und Bügel extrem umständlich und gefährlich. Hier Dienstleistung anbieten. Marienkäferplage: allein in meinem Zimmer über 20 Viecher Lüftung im Bad extrem laut und viel zu lange.

Auf Schloss Romrod kann man sich fast wie zu Hause fühlen und das ist als Geschäftsreisende ein großes Plus. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

Gepflegte Schlossanlage mit Park. Sehenswertes Gebäude mit Zinnengang. Zimmer sehr klein aber schön. Bad einwandfrei. Restaurant ****. Autobahn bzw. Ortsstraße leider hörbar. Wir kommen wieder. Gefährliche Wendeltreppe, unangekünige Stolperfallen.
