Very friendly hotel management. Good location: quiet area, walking distance to village center, close to Weeze Airport. Free car parking was offered during our trip abroad. We stayed in the Eastern Asia room, which has a second floor with beds for the children. They loved it!

Friendly owners. Great experience to spend a night in 14th century castle. Not far from Weeze airport, just 10 min. drive by taxi. Individualy served breakfast.

What a quirky little place - but delightful nevertheless. What summed it up was that our room had a doorway which we assumed led to a closet of some sort, but actually opened up to a narrow spiral staircase up to a loft-room. Completely unexpected and fantastic. Full of character, a very different hotel to any other I have stayed in.

Not entirely obvious where to go to check-in initially, but a quick phone call sorted that out. Shame about the town it's in, which was absolutely dead, although I guess it's maybe because we visited on a Sunday.

Our room was very comfortable with a separate room with a couch and table/chairs (and our extra roll away bed), and a separate bedroom with the TV. The bathroom was large, clean, and had floor-heating. Tea, coffee, and water were in our room. The owner was quite pleasant and friendly, and even helped us carry a suitcase up to our room. The location was quiet and convenient for a few day trips into the Netherlands and to Xanten, DE.

The TV had poor reception on some channels (so off with the TV!!!). There were steep steps to our room, which was not a problem for us, but could be for some guests with limited mobility.

Luxurious, extra spacious and beautiful Junior-suite on the top floor of a 14th centruty castle with an amazing view , gives you just the taste of royalty! I would definitely recommend it to all couples as a honeymoon suite or for a romantic getaway in the outskirts!

I am amazed of the efforts spent to recover this Family Castle from the ruins and withstanding to all historical impacts. Very impressed of the landscape surrounding and again thanks to the people preserving nature of this place. All staff was very attentive, friendly and supportive. Thank you all very much for keeping such historical places in living condition through generations.

To further preserve already spent efforts and top quality repair carried out in the Owl's Room water draining system in the bath room should be recovered; otherwise accumulation of water and humidity will create negative impact over this wonderful living space.

The place is beautiful and very romantic! Thank you for an excursion! Next time we visit your hotel we would book one of the suites - they are just gorgeous!

Made to feel extremely welcome. Very good value for the money. Location in its own park grounds could not be bettered.

Beautiful surroundings, very regal breakfast room, great localtion if you nedd to stay close to Weeze airport. Minizoo for the kids was a bonus.

We stayed in the annex to the castle what was probably the stables but so nicely restored. The owners explained the property had been in the family for 700 years and they were proud to show us around the entire property and in the castle where a large honeymoon suite had been beautifully restored. Also some good eating places nearby and a children's petting zoo on property. A wonderful experience

Déco un peu vétuste

Accueillant, chaleureux, disponibles, 3 adjectifs parfaitement adaptés aux propriétaires de ce très charmant hôtel, situé dans un oasis calme et reposant.

Le manque de restauration sur place, les places de parking beaucoup trop limitées et les petits déjeuners sans plat chaud.

E' un vecchio castello ristrutturato e immerso in uno splendido parco. Le stanze sono veri e propri appartamenti, molto grandi e ben curati.

Naturalmente il paese offre poco e niente. Per una sosta breve va più che bene, ma non oltre i 2/3 giorni.

Alles aan het hotel was top.

Weeze zelf is niet boeiend, maar het personeel heeft leuke tips voor de omgeving. Kevelaer ligt bv in de buurt en daar krijg je een kaartje van. Ideaal!

La atención, el desayuno y la trnaquilidad

Esta muy cerca del aeropuerto pero no hay luces ni indicaciones y es dificil dar con el. Al reservar no vimos habitaciones triples y pagamos dos dobles, en las que podiamos haber dormido 7 personas. Con una de ellas habiera sido suficiente.

La atención, el desayuno y la amplitud de la habitación.

Esta bien ubicado pero mal indicado, especialmente si vas de noche, no hay luces ni un cartel que anuncie el castillo. Podiamos haber dormido las tres en la misma habitación, tenía camas y espacio de sobra.

Das umfangreiche Frühstück mit dem äußerst freundlichen Service sowie einem excellenten Kaffee. Wir konnten unser Auto direkt vor dem Haus stehen lassen und die Gastfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen. Das Zimmer war bis auf die u. g. Tatsachen sehr gemütlich und authentisch passend zum Ambiente. WLAN tatsächlich und völlig unkompliziert kostenlos verfügbar. Wunderschöne Kulisse für romantische Veranstaltungen.

Die Sauberkeit unseres Zimmers liess leider etwas zu wünschen übrig. Es roch ein wenig muffig und im WC war bei unserer Ankuft noch das Putzmittel zum Einwirken. Wenig Möglichkeiten im Zimmer, Kleidung zu lagern (4 Kleiderbügel ohne Schrank ist selbst bei einem kurzen Aufenthalt zu knapp) Die Kommodenschubladen (einzige Möglichkeit etwas zu verstauen) waren nicht ausgewischt. Das haben wir hinterher erst festgestellt, als wir unsere Sachen wieder herausgenommen haben vor der Abreise.

Schönes altes Schloss mit ruhiger Lage und gut ausgestatteten Zimmern und einem sehr guten Frühstück.

Bella struttura storica con ampio parco, molto silenzioso, il centro città è raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi. L' aereoporto dista circa dieci minuti di auto. Ci sono due suite la migliore e rappresentativa e quella nel campanile, ma va richiesta con un certo anticipo, l'altra in cui abbiamo soggiornato potrebbe essere molto migliorata nella sostanza e nei dettagli.

La gestione si occupa in prevalenza di matrimoni, i fine settimana sono sempre impegnati. Le camere possono essere maggiormente curate. Il rapporto qualità prezzo considerando la locazione di estrema provincia deve considerarsi non conforme.
