The hotel was quaint and beautiful. Great parking. The owner and his wife were wonderful. Our room was nicely decorated, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had in Europe! And it was a very nice walk to Lindau town. |

The hotel is nice and the owner helps the guests a lot. He speaks english and informed us about the options for dinner, where we had a very nice experience. The breakfast is fantastic and the service is also very good. We certainly will be back. |

Lovely setting with garden, lots of parking, 20 minute walk to Lindau island. Copious breakfast served in the sunny wintergarden. Owner very helpful and personally made us a delicious evening snack. Room was large with everything you could want, including a view to the mountains. Would definitely return for a longer stay. |

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. It was further from the town centre than I expected and is better suited to people travelling by car. For a 3-star hotel it had very few facilities. |

Pleasant, quiet and clean stay with friendly staff. Nice enough rooms and a good breakfast but the hotel is situated in a residential suburb a good 25 minute walk away from the island of Lindau. Not a massive problem on a balmy summer evening, but you do feel a little away from the action. We felt the room was a little overpriced for what it was, being more of a private guesthouse than a hotel, and it doesn't have any facilities eg: bar, restaurant etc. I'd suggest trying to get a room with a view - we were in the basement, although it was quiet. Overall, a reasonable stay but a bit away from the centre - we ended up getting a taxi back which cost 8 euros. |

Situated not too far from the lake in a German Jugendstil building surrounded by nicely designed and well kept gardens the hotel offers a place to feel well and enjoy life. Friendly and costumer oriented staff. Great breakfast. |

Friendly efficient welcome - in English. Pleasant breakfast in tidy surroundings. Adjacent car parking very convenient. small point - door to admin office open during breakfast. Appreciate coffee machine in office but open door may give poor impression to some people |

The hotel is very charming and we had a great time. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The staff and management was very efficient and informative. The room was excellent and well maintained. Breakfast too was great. We shall surely return next season. |

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer im untergeschoß mit separatem Eingang. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hat uns nützliche Tips gegeben. Das Frühstück, welches im Wintergarten serviert wird ist sehr gut. vielen Dank für die schönen Tage! |

Sehr schönes, gemütliches Haus, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Ziele innerhalb Lindaus sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück im Wintergarten war sehr schön. |

Das Hotel Schöngarten kann ich nur bestens weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber und am morgendlichen Frühstücksbüffet fehlt es an nichts.Auch bei Fragen oder Problemen ist das Personal stets freundlich und bemüht diese zu beantworten. Meine Tochter und ich werden dieses Hotel gerne wieder besuchen. |
