I found the staff extremely helpful , I was trying to find relatives and how to get to them which they helped find which bus and tram to catch , would certainly go back there again
I did get lost trying to find it , but my gps wasn't working at the time
Nice and comfy place. Receptionist was friendly. Might be a good place in summer.
A bit far from the city than expected. Wifi was bad.
The helpful staff. They made a mistake with our booking but they apologised and quickly solved the problem.
We stayed there only for 1 night after 12 hours of driving and of course we expected to rest and sleep after the tiring journey but unfortunately there was a party with loud music at least until midnight...
Location is close to town, but with a country feeling, very helpful staff, excellent free wifi, quiet at night,
Not enough outlets, worthless TV, the hotel needs a refurbishing.
The price. The sheets were clean.
I probably realise I pitched my price level too low. So my fault.
Free parking Friendly staff Good bus service to the old town and town centre Excellent value for money
WIFI, free parking, good menue at a good price, nice, green spacious Bier garten. Friendly family owned hotel and restaurant. Staff was a hard working family and so kind, engaging and friendly. They spoke English too. Nice time, was the Dorf's 99th year celebration when I was there 18, 19 Aug 2014. Will go back for sure. On the river and close to shops, excellent bicycle riding area. Only a 100 yds from the Neckar river too.
Rooms were a bit dated, small old style fat TV mounted in the corner near the ceiling, never worked (never found the clicker), no a/c or fan but very quiet place.
Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean.
hotel has huge potential but was very neglected and had an unloved feel about it. The Biergarten was very large and could have been a lovely place to relax, instead it was untended, grubby and not looked after. Tables and chairs were lying around on the ground. Service was sporadic at breakfast. The reception untidy and dusty. Flowers were not watered. Looks like the management is not on the ball!!
Friendly staff, good regional food - excellent Heidelberg beer.
Restaurant was excellent. Staff was very helpful. Location was perfect.
One very small towel for two persons. I should have asked for more. Breakfast wasn't served until 8 am, earlier would have been better.
It had some old character charm and in the summer I'm sure the bier garden would be great. Parking was a convenience.
Curtains were not heavy enough to keep out the early morning light. Noise from the neighbouring rooms and hallway carried very easily.
good value for the money, friendly staff.
Old property but very comfortable. Large room.
A ways from the city center, but bus service was very close by.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location outside the hectic and more expensive Heidelberg was good. And the price was right.
Heating was not working. They provided space heaters, which gave adequate warmth, but limited outlets meant nothing else, I.E. computer, could be plugged in.
