Very good central location in Freiburg. Located close to a Car Park to enable car to be parked overnight at a reasonable rate (Car Park has a "deal" with the Hotel for discount parking). Adequate breakfast. Room was of a sufficient size for adult couple plus their adult daughter. Rates are very reasonable. |

nice Schwarzwald style breakfast service on Saturday chaotical - missing cups and plates, waitress far too slow, nearly everything eaten up at 9.30; TV not working as it should, no special tariffs for nearby garage |

I really liked this hotel. The location was excellent close to the cathedral square. The walks above the city behind the hotel have fine views. Also included in yor stay is a regional transport pass, useful for travel to the surrounding countryside. There is a very good breakfast too. The staff are pleasant and helpful too. |

The hotel was nice, right in the centre of the town. Roon facilities were poor. Small douche cabine, no toilet in the room. |

Fabulous Location, absolutely in the midst of all the sights and a great atmostphere.Very nice friendly staff, all spoke English and very helpful. Breakfast good, very clean and my room was bright sunny, very clean and had a little balcony which was very sweet. The hotel is efficient and clean and has a lovely character, clearly well looked after and cared for. Free Internet in the reception. My room picked up a bit of noise from the kitchen/restaurant till about 12 and then from about 6.30 am. This could have just been me being a light sleeper though, and there is nothing the hotel could do about it so I did not raise it with them. |

staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. the room and furniture was excellent quality and cleanliness. the location was perfect, having both the convenience of being within the historic pedestrian district and being adjacent to an overnight parking garage. the room even had a balcony overlooking a small public courtyard. |

nice location, pleasant staff, offered what it said it would, no hassels outside was noisy - european cobblestone streets project noise like crazy, and they still seems to need to ring church bells every hour all night..... |

Service oriented. Helpful, friendly, all the clichés that are often used but are actually put to practice here. A hotel that still has "branded" towels. Wireless internet doesn't reach the third floor but a comfortable chair on the 2nd floor landing was a perfect midpoint. |

Room was very clean and spacious, hotel well located. No private toilet in the room, and very noisy during he night. We stayed there on a Friday night and we could hear people talking on the street all night long. The hotel offers wireless internet in the room, but configuration paramenters is not so simple as it should be. |

Central location near Munster chrurch and other sites Service was poor - we were allocated room in other hotel - owner just pointed down a street - entrance was difficult to find, reasonable walk with luggage, we then needed to retuun to have someone show us down 2 streets and into a closed building - no maps given to new hotel entrance.Locating Parking entrance a nightmare for non German speaking guests |

The hotel is located near to historical city centre, beautiful rooms, a good breakfast, the affable personnel, fast registration, in hotel there is a good restaurant. In rooms going out of doors it is very noisy, especially early in the morning. Numbers in which are not present a toilet to live not so comfortably, the toilet to be approximately in 50 metres from number. The hotel does not have parking, the city parking to be very close, but costs much - about 15 euros for days. |

Nice location, free internet in the reception area, clean rooms. The room was on the corner of two roads with a lot of activity (mostly drunk people and some cars), so it was a bit noisy. No toilet in the room. |

It is a really lovely hotel, in a good location - in the centre of town, but on a quieter street. The room was very comfortable, and the facilities were clean. The hairdryer in the bathroom is particularly useful in winter. The staff were very friendly. There was a very good selection for breakfast. |
