Friendly, english spoken staff and an amazing location close to the city center.

Nothing, our experience there was outstanding!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay very much. We were travelling with a 10 month old, 2 year old, and 10 year old and each of them enjoyed the family suite. The room was very clean, the baby cot was already set up for us, and a nice supply of towels for such a large family was provided. We also loved the view. The reserved parking garage spot was fantastic, vehicle was in a secure area overnight and easy access in and out when wanting to drive around. There is a lift that will take you to your floor from inside parking garage. I would stay here again!!

We only found one English speaking channel to watch which was a news station that the children did not enjoy. This wasn't a big deal for us as we were enjoying the shopping and eating in town so not having children tv to watch wasn't a big deal for us. They do have pay per view that costs 5 Euro per movie...I Do agree that walking to the waterfall and shopping areas would have been difficult, especially with small children. We drove to parking areas near the shops.

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel. We rented the 2 bedroom apartment. One room had a nice size double bed and the other had two twin beds perfect for the kids. Shared bathroom in between. Lots of closet space, and pretty quiet. We could hear water from the pipes all night, but no noise from traffic or people. The restaurant was accommodating to our family, dinner prices were reasonable. The breakfast was great and staff were very nice and spoke great English. We were also given a ticket that gave us free entry into the waterfall. We walked from our hotel to the waterfall and surrounding shopping district. It was nice to have free internet, a little bit of a pain to reset it daily, but worth the hassle.

Free parking was very limited. The pool was quite cool for this time of year. We could not stay in too long because we got cold. You have to pay to use the sauna, the brochure made it sound like you could use it at your leisure. Light fixtures are very wobbly, time to tighten them up or replace them, kinda dangerous in a family friendly room.

The hotel staff were great. There was the typical European breakfast, but it was plenty. They had enough choices to keep the kids happy. We reserved a two bedroom "apartment" and it was worth it. Parking was a little tricky with a larger car, but was manageable. From what I gather, summer is their season, so when it gets busy, they offer parking in their garage for 3 euro. It's only a short walk to the waterfalls, and the main street.

Being that it wasn't their season I thought the room was a little over priced. We paid 150 euros for one night.

Everything was very good, hospitality, food, swimming pool.

The pillows could be of a better quality.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Restraunt was amazing.

Didn't care for the down feather pillows, but no hotel has ever had a pillow that satisfied me.

We like everything about this hotel: staff, location, breakfast, pool and beautifull views from our balcony

The minibar or fridge will be good(helpfull) especially for families with young children.

Beautiful view and circular walk to the waterfalls. Friendly and helpful staff, big, comfortable room.

The room was huge and the breakfast included was pretty good too.

The pool didn't have a shallow end for small children.

Good spacious rooms and friendly professional service from the staff.

Ottima posizione nella Foresta Nera, non lontano da Friburgo dove abbiamo visitato il Mercatino di Natale.

Estava numa boa relação de preço e benefícios. Gostei bastante do Café da manhã e também do Restaurante pois pode-se degustar um vinho da região ou uma cerveja sem precisar dirigir depois. Também achei bem interessante a oferta de garagem, mesmo para um carro alugado, pois em caso de chuva e frio pode-se acessar por dentro do prédio, além de poder deixar parte da bagagem no carro, no nosso caso, uma viagem com diversas paradas, facilitou muio.
