The room was very nice and the location was great.

The parking near the hotel is non-existant (on very busy streets). I would strongly advise that you pre-book in to the private car park or go to one of the nearby public car parks.

Dennis, the hotel manager, was very nice and helpful.

The rooms were stark and uncomfortable, there were 20 channels on the TV but none in English and the breakfast was overpriced.

Nur der Chef - sehr nett!

Das ganze Hotel und das Zimmer sehr schmutzig. Keine Reinigung während des Aufenthalts. Kein Lift trotz 5 Etagen.

Cerca del centro (relativamente)

Reservé una doble ("double") y me dieron una que consistía en dos
habitaciones individuales con una cama individual cada una, unidas (este
caso sería una "twin", no una "double" como reservé). Tenía la reserva
hecha desde hacía medio año y, sin embargo, me dijeron que el hotel
estaba lleno y que no me la podían cambiar por ninguna otra. Tras mucho
quejarme e insistir, por fin buscó el Sr de recepción una solución pero
si no, nada. Los colchones, tanto en mi habitación como en otra que
reservamos, muy incómodos. Teníamos frío por la noche!!! En nuestra
habitación estaba el lavabo junto a una de las camas y la ducha y el wc
a parte. No nos quejamos por el precio, lo comprendimos. Pero la luz del
lavabo no funcionaba! Además, al llegar, sobre las 19.00h (por la
tarde!) aún no tenían las habitaciones preparadas, y eso que llamé el
día anterior desde España para reconfirmar que íbamos.

die Nähe zur Altstadt

Bei Ankunft (14.15 h) mußten wir erst einmal 1/2 Stunde im Freien warten, bevor wir eingelassen wurden.
Ein Bett war eine "Hängematte".
Während unseres Aufenthaltets (3 Nächte) wurde das Zimmer nicht aufgeräumt.
