The food was great. The staff are nice enough. The location is very good.

Rooms are too small for the price they ask for. The mattresses are quite bad.

We stayed for four nights in September 2012. Our stay was very pleasant and we did not have any complaints. We had two single rooms that were both very comfortable. My mother's room was on the lakeside and her view was spectacular. The hotel is located on the lake and a little outside the village of Kochel, though a ten to fifteen minute walk would take you there. The hotel can be very peaceful in the evening and at night, when the traffic falls away, but can be noisy in the morning of during the afternoon, especially on the terrace. Breakfast is plentiful and though we were there each evening, the meals were very good too. The staff are very wecoming.

The lake view balcony was well worth the extra price and I would recommend this. The restaurant is clearly very popular and therefore a good atmosphere in the evening. The hotel staff in particular were excellent.

if arriving late, parking can be difficult due to the popularity of the restaurant. Make sure you confirm where you have parked as being ok. Also, bring water with you as table water is charged at 2.50 euros for 20cl

The location by the loch and close to the mountains. The food in the restaurant was great and we enjoyed every meal.

We didn't think the hotel was very child friendly. We travelled with our 16 months old daughter and we had the feeling that some of the staff didn't like kids being around and made us feel a little bit uncomfortable.

All very well, polite and friendly staff. We lived on the first floor overlooking the lake. The room is clean, in our opinion there is everything you need. The kitchen can be called home. Very tasty. Not expensive. Sunset during dinner. For lovers of peace and quiet - perfect.

Great facility, located adjacent to a beautiful lake. We visited in August and loved swimming in the lake. The hotel's spa facilities were great for a relaxed stay. The restaurant is convenient and good. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

Excellent hotel for the summer vacation. If you prefer outdoor activities, then this is what you need. Special thanks to the good service. The hotel is located in a very beautiful place. I recommend everyone who wants to rest from city vanity.

A very good hotel with an excellent restaurant, all overlooking beautiful Lake Kochel in the foothills of the Alps. Not all rooms overlook the lake, but my room had a balcony with a sweeping lakeview. Cyclist friendly - garage for bikes. Leafy outdoor terrace overlooking lake is great for lunch and evening meals in the long summer twilight. Countryside round Kochel is beautiful.

My stay in Seehotel Grauer Bär was very nice and it went very well. At first, special thanks to Peter - receptionist - who was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel and specially the room with view of the lake was great. Every morning, it was wonder to see sunrise. Also, breakfast is copious and varied. Finally, I recommend this hotel for anybody who wants to have a break, to escape banality of everyday life.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Service hat alles für uns möglich gemacht. Lage ist wunderschön. Wunderbarer Sonnenuntergang über dem See beim Abendessen mit Panoramablick.

Wasserdruck zu niedrig. Sehr unangenehm beim Duschen. Einstellen der Wassertemperatur kaum möglich: Sobald jemand im anderen Zimmern die Dusch einschaltet, wird es sofort kalt. Zimmereinrichtung schon etwas älter.

Die schönen großen Zimmer, das große Badezimmer, der Balkon mit Sitzmöbel mit herrlichem See- und Bergblick, die wunderbare Ruhe vor allem auch nachts, die guten Betten, der schöne Ruheraum mit Seeblick, die immer freundlichen Mitarbeiter/innen, das leckere Frühstück, das gute und gemütliche Restaurant, die Sauberkeit überall, die schnelle Anfahrt von München.

Die Einrichtung war Zweckmässig aber sauber

Wasserhahn im Bad war undixcht. Bei der zimmer übernahme hat uns der Mitarbeiter an die Tür gebracht und ist gegangen , nach der Frühstückszeit musste ich selber fragen, und übrigens hatte er eine recht Schmutzige Kochkleidung an.

die lage direkt am see. Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Personal sehr familiär und freundlich. Zimmer sehr ruhig. Schöner Sauna u Wellnessbereich vor allem der Ruheraum mit Blick auf den See ist wunderschön.

Matratzen sehr hart :-( Frühstück im Vergleich zum sonstigen Essen, das wirklich sehr gut ist, eher lieblos aber durchaus genügend. Beim Bezahlen war es nicht exakt der Internet Preis, was auch bei den Gästen vor uns wohl der Fall war.. waren zwar nur 18 Euro aber immerhin- müsste eigentlich so sein wie gebucht. Die Internet Buchungsausdruck / Buchungsnummer hat aber auch bei Ankunft nicht interessiert- das Zimmer war aber reserviert.

Consiglierei una copia del menu anche in lingua italiana , magari non e' molto frequentato da italiani ma una copia basterebbe

internet ist nicht inklusive. keine Bademäntel auf dem Zimmer - auch diese müssen extra bezahlt werden, Preis für drei Sterne etwas zu hoch.
