Peaceful location, and the main attraction was right nearby. Good area if you want to do further sightseeing. Good restaurant. We got more than expected.

We not only had a spectacular view over the lake, but at the side also over the monastery. Even our dog gazed at all that beauty for hours! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake and the pretty garden was a wonderful start of the day.

Perfect location or visiting the Maria Laach abbey, which is only a short walk away. Clean, comfortable room. Great breakfast (ncluded), and restaurant offers gourmet meals with regional wines, all at reasonable price. Terrace with view of lake and garden, free sauna and pool. A lovely hotel. Mosquitos were extremely bad inside room, even in early April. Woke up with multiple bites. The nearby lake is no doubt to blame. So, bring some repellant if you plan to leave windows open in mosquito season. The hotel should install window screens or provide advance warning, imho.

De gedegen bediening, weliswaar nogal onpersoonlijk, maar niets op aan te merken. Prima is verder het zwembad met sauna. Maar het allerbelangrijkst is voor ons de nabijheid van de eeuwenoude abdij. We vinden het slecht dat honden worden toegelaten in het restaurant. We vinden dat zeer onhygiënisch.

De aankomst was zeer aangenaam het personeel was zeer beleefd en er was niets te veel .het eten was uitsekend . de kamer was zeer net en goed verwarmd. In een woord het is klasse en toch voelden we er ons thuis. Er is voor ons maar een opmerking dat er geen minibar was op de kamer .

Wir waren eine Wandergruppe von 10 Leuten. Uns hat die Lage des Hotels sehr gefallen, auch die Einrichtungen, besonders die Badestub. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und mit frischen Produkten. Wir haben uns im Grossen und Ganzen sehr wohl gefühlt. Speisekarte sollte leichtere Speisen anbieten, (weniger fettreich zubereitet).

Voortreffelijk was de ligging, aan het meer. Verder waren de kamers zeer ruim. Ook hebben we genoten van de uitgebreide saunafaciliteiten.

Kurz und gut: Es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis: Hotel, Klosterkirche, Mar. Abends: wir hatten keine Lust auf Ihre diversen -sicherlich hervorragenden- Angebote und bestelten "nur" Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln, große Bier, Eisbecher und Kirschwasser. Alles von hervorragender Qualität und freundlichst serviert. Wir bedanken uns !

prima hotel, misschien aangepast aan de wat oudere gasten ... op de keurige kamers een klein ouderwets (beeldbuis) TV toestel en praktisch geen bereik voor internet. voor de gevraagde prijs per nacht zou dat beter moeten.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage und ist gepflegt. In den Räumlichkeiten bzw. Zimmern kann man sich wohlfühlen. Die Einrichtung bzw. Ausstattung ist relativ veraltet. Für ein 4**** Hotel könnte man etwas mehr erwarten.

Sehr freundliche und nette Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Hotelanlage gehört zum danebenliegenden Kloster. Sehr schöner großer Garten, tolle Terasse. Swimmingpool mit Massagedüsen zum Ausspannen. Zum Schwimmen aber ungeignet. Abendessen sehr lecker. Gutes Frühstückbuffet. Kostenlose Parkplätze und WLAN auf dem Zimmer. Schöne Lage zum See (ca. 300m). Für 1-2 Nächte gerne wieder ansonsten zu teuer. Mein Zimmer war etwas veraltet. Vor der Buchung evtl. nachfragen. Merkwürdiger Duft im Zimmer, wie ausgelaufenes Parfüm. Auch wenn das Hotel sehr weit außerhalb liegt, etwas laut am Abend durch angrenzende Bundesstr. Sehr junges Personal war beim Abendessen etwas überfordert auf der Terasse. Kleinigkeiten, aber bemerkbar vor allem wenn man einen gewissen Standard darstellen will und dann nicht halten kann. Relativ kleine Auswahl an exlusiven Gerichten auf der Karte (ab 18.-) war mir persönlich zu teuer aber lecker. Pool ist zu klein zum Schwimmen, geht halbwegs wenn man alleine im Pool ist. Zum Relaxen aber OK.

Das Hotel hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre, wir hatten ein großes helles, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Laacher See und ein stilvolles Abendessen. Ich empfand den Raum für Kosmetikbehandlungen sehr schlicht und für das Hotel nicht angemessen

Hotel is onderdeel van een kloosterorde. Bij het krieken van de dag, rond 5 uur, beginnen de klokken al te luiden. Personeel is beleefd, maar afstandelijk. Gasten zijn voornamelijk ouderen die om religeuze motieven in het hotel verblijven. Het hotel is comfortabel met veel faciliteiten. Maar helaas zonder veel vakantiesfeer

Hotel confortable, restauration de qualité, belle terrasse, jardin agréable et très fleuri, gentillesse du personnel, environnement propice aux promenades. A noter que la vue sur le lac est très réduite du fait de la végétation qui l'entoure.

“I don't think there was one thing that I could fault about this small hotel. The staff were excellent and made us really welcome. The room was lovely with views of the deer park from our window.
