We stayed at Hotel Seipel on our way to visit Schloss Heidelberg. The Hotel Seipel is only a short drive from Heidelberg and is close to dining. The hotel itself was clean and efficient. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is charming and not expensive. Our room had a balcony where it was very pleasant to sit on a June evening.

Proprietress and staff were warm, chearful and friendly. Since my German is not very good, it was a blessing that they all spoke English. Room was spotlessly clean. Location is very quiet, off the main road 1 block, and 2 blocks from street-car into Heidelberg. Great breakfast. Off-street parking is available. I'd stay there again, for sure.

There was NOTHING that we didn't like. Everything was wonderful and staying at Hotel Seipel was a very good decision.

I like your hotel. This hotel looks like *** hotel, no more.

Sheets on the beds were very rough.

Very lovely place!! Super breakfast! We stayed here because we used to live in the neighborhood, and had an early appointment the next morning north of Heidelberg. Always wondered what it was like inside, well appointed, and Mrs. Seipel was very friendly, speaks English (for those that need it); and the pictures are spot on. If need to stay longer, then ask for larger room if possible. The area does have a community pool area close to this location; and you are only 15 minutes to Heidelberg; and you are two blocks from the street car that goes to Heidelberg, or connects you from HD to Mannheim...so you don't have to drive if you don't want to. We would stay again if needed.

Small bathroom, but clean w/towel rack heating (always a plus). For a one night stay (place to sleep only) this was just fine for us.

Very nice clean, friendly family run hotel. More modern decor than we were looking for, but no complaints.

Great value for what you get- clean, nicely decorated with a great breakfast! Mrs Seipel is very nice and very friendly and speaks English well. That was important since we dont speak German!

It is a little bit outside the city and in a residential area, although easy access by tram. After about 7pm, there is no staff available till the morning.
