Carat Hotel & Apartments München

We did not like the smallness of the kitchen, nor the limited equipment. There should also be a table in the room on which to eat. The beds were not as comfortable as they could have been.

our room was not cleaned or ordered. minibar ( stated on the site ) was not working in all hotel although I made it clear I had babies.sink was broken, Not recommended although

The hotel is in close proximity of the historic downtown area and very close to the subway (50 m). Staff was friendly and professional.

Some guest from Middle East were very noisy during night.

It was quite stuffy in the room, and on the first day even the conditioner didn't help... But if you want to open the window, it will be very noisy (from the street)

Within a few blocks of the metro was great and having a kitchenette was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is very noisy (street, construction, upstairs tenant), but central. The refrigerator stank --presumably from extended lack of use. Split bed & covers--inconvenient for me, may be what others need. Awkward for taking showers due to location of curtain rod, baths are fine.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are free coffee and apples available in the reception area all day. There is a free internet machine. My wife and I did not book with a breakfast as she needs a wheat-free diet. However, the hotel allowed her to sit down in the breakfast area and, with her own breakfast that she had brought with her, use the facilties - milk, bowl, spoon, coffee (the coffee was excellent!) etc. I had the normal, chargeable breakfast which was extensive and tasted very good. The hotel is situated on the edge of the city centre (10 mins walk away) with a tram and U-Bahn stop nearby for longer journeys. There are convenient cafes and other shops nearby. The staff always wore a smile and spoke pleasantly.

In an otherwise small but excellent room, there wasn't quite enough drawer space but this was a very minor matter.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfast were amazing. The room were spacious and comfortable. The location was ok, near a U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines and just ten minutes walk from the city centre. Good value for money. no doubt.

We used apartment. It was not big but comfortable enougth for our say. Kitchen was quite small, without dishwasher but the rest of equipment was ok. Several supermarkest in walking distance. The hotel is not in the historical center but it is easy to access by car (they have also the underground parking) and 1-2 min to walk to the historical center. We believe it's very good location to visit the old city and to travel by car to the Munich surrounding.
