Location is excellent, just one stop from the city center. Staff is pretty nice, breakfast was fine.
The bathroom and sink were filled with water while taking shower and washing hands. It was uncomfortable.
Good position near the city center, very clean despite the presence of the moquette, friendly and helpful staff, good wifi in the room.
Furniture and finishes should be "updated", extremely basic.
You can walk to the city center and back. Trams stop right outside. Hotel has a lift. Man at reception pleasant and helpful. Nordend has great restaurants. I went to the hotel to be in Nordend for New Year.
Bathroom floor was dirty, towels were dirty. Curtains were dirty. The air vent on the bathroom wall was filthy. The walls were so thin, you could hear people sneezing, coughing and spitting all night in other rooms and in the corridor. Bathroom looked older than most of the guests. The carpet did as well.
The staff were the excellent. Everyone that I interacted with were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English (great for a non-Germany speaker!). I had the impression that they genuinely cared about making my stay pleasant. The rooms were clean but not overly fancy or modern. The wifi is now free and quite reliable. The breakfasts were not fancy but had a good selection to choose from and was more than enough to start the day. Overall, it was a very comfortable place to stay.
As has been said before, the noise from the street cars can be loud, especially if the windows are open. The higher numbered rooms (214, 215, 216) are probably the most at risk of this noise as they face the main street. If the windows are closed, the noise is very much reduced and sounds mostly just like a strong gust of wind going by. As the street cars don't run at night (or much less), it is less of a concern while sleeping, although they do start up again around 6 am.
The bath room fan was very noisy, not only my room but also the side room was the same
We're got a huge room, and regretted a lot we booked our trip to Drezden only for one night. Perfect location, nearby the river, excellent facilities with a small kitchenette, which was very helpful. Only good words and emotions!
Good location, very close to city center & shopping area. Friendly staff. My room was very comfortable even though it was a single one.
Much noise (steps etc) from the upper floor, even late at night. No soundproofing.
I like everything about the hotel.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, ready to assist you in any situation Very easy to reach - tram stop just 20 m from the hotel entrance Large flat-screen TV Excellent value for money
The bed is too uncomfortable Even with windows closed the trams on the street just outside the hotel are heard The doors are also not entirely sound-proof
Friendly staff +++
Loud --- breakfast ---
location is fine
no AC you can't sleep from the noice !!
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Any requests responded to immediately and with a smile. Very comfortable bed.
Hotel clean but badly in need of re-decoration. Price: Bad value for money as I booked in while there was a major event on in Frankfurt and therefore paid about four times the normal rate.
Very good location and good price
Very helpful staff Gave good directions to get around Gave hot water for drinking as needed Room was good and had all essentials Location good
It is a very good option for visiting Frankfurt and staying comfortably without paying much.
The location and nice staff that speak english (w don't speak german), soft pillows.
Uncomfortable beds, noisy corridors (could listen all from the corridor), check out at 11:00.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and in a good location. Easy to get to from konstablerwache train station.
Shower head was broken. Trams were noisy at night as it's next to the line.
Small and comfortable rooms at an excellent rate in a convenient location (a subway station is just in front); Large flat-screen TV; Clean rooms
Noisy (a subway station is just in front); Too hot - if you open the window, it's too noisy, if not - too hot; Somewhat worn-out furniture
Good location and friendly staff.
Room and furniture need to be renovated. Hair dryer was missing. Poor breakfast
foul smell from the bathroom, not so clean, very old, noisy rooms.
lowest price in area
small room poor internet staff could not resolve the issue with internet no fridge in room
The staff are friendly. The location is great for accessing all the major attractions. The rooms are basic, but clean. The price was reasonable for the area.
You have to give your key to the doorman, which means you have to talk to him every time you enter/leave. This gets a bit tedious if you are coming and going all day and night (as is common with tourists).
Staff we're very welcoming, and always helpful. Location was great only a short walk to the Zeil shopping strip. Daily cleaning was good with a family.
Breakfast was €8, which was pricey for continental breakfast
Quiet atmosphere ... friendly staff ... ... linen and towels is clean ... clean rooms......wi-fi in the room
Tram noise outside the window
1 nice staff member... The other where not so nice :(
