Sheraton Essen Hotel    

Staff were very excellent. The hotel restaurant is top quality with excellent dishes and very wide menu. The park view at the back of the hotel is very inspiring. Very close to the center of the city and train station

Breakfast was fantastic! Beds were very comfortable, rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean although decor felt outdated.

Lack of free wifi connection in room. Would have been nice if the parking had been discounted at least.

the hotel was far too hot and took 2 days to sort out the air con shame because other than that iot was very good although the bar prices are very expensive

great location to the messe halls three stops on the u bahn which is right outside the hotel, nice bar area rooms of a great standard

i thought the hotel was terrible the sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable the room was dirty the staff was rude

Location of the hotel, next to the opera house and the concert hall, with a direct entrance to the Philharmonic so you don't need a coat. Breakfast is very good with a great variety of dishes. The room is comfortable.

The bathroom is dated and unpractical (shower curtain, no grips in the bath). To take a shower in the slippery bath is a risky. Special wishes made by reservation (a hard pillow/certain drinks in the minibar) are obviously not read and have to be organized after (late) arrival. No free internet.

Suzi who runs the bar is fantastic

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The chap running the front reception desk was very professional and nothing was too much trouble for him. He knew everyone's room number and name throughout their stay. The (superior) room was spacious and clean if slightly dated.

1) - Only having a Tassimo coffee machine in the room is a big mistake if no breakfast tea is provided. Nor was there any milk or creamers for the coffee, so we had to ask for room service to bring a jug of milk to our room every day. Would much prefer a kettle to make our own coffee or tea! 2) - The resaurant is way to expensive and the food served just average - we have eaten much better for far less elsewhere... including the restaurant in the Philomarnic next door. 3) - Breakfast is also far too expensive 4) - We did get some youths making quite a bit of noise in the park to the rear of the hotel on a Friday evening from 22.00 - 01.00... 5) - Our stay coinincided with the hot spell we had towards the end of March and our room was too hot - we asked for an engineer to fix our aircon but it never did the job of cooling the room down...

le manque de confort de la salle de bain "à l'ancienne" équipée d'une baignoire à enjamber plutôt qu'une douche les toilettes dans la salle de bain - la chambre communicante avec une autre séparée seulement par une porte ; tous les bruits de la chambre d'à coté + du couloir résonnant dans la nôtre... Défaut d'acoutisque. Au restaurant : le service était beaucoup trop long.

Kein Empfang bzw. keine Hilfe beim Gepäck, keine Begleitung zum Zimmer, Gläser an der Minibar klebten am Boden fest und waren verschmutzt!! Nachttischlampen waren aus der Steckdose gezogen, Saunabereich nur bis 21 Uhr, trotzdem wir am Barbereich die einzigen Gäste waren, mußten wir das Personal erst finden!! Schimmel im Duschbereich (Zimmer 418), Frühstücksservice war unzureichend (Rührei war nicht nachgefüllt, wir wurden einfach umgesetzt, obwohl der von uns gewählte Tisch frei blieb, am Eingang des Früstücksraumes war kein Personal)

Wir haben für 3 Nächte über Booking com gebucht. Beim einchecken wurde sofort meine Kreditkarte durchgezogen. Als wir am nächsten Nachmittag in unser Zimmer wollten, funktionierte unsere keycard nicht mehr. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde ich darauf hingewiesen das wir ja heute schon ausgecheckt haben. Ich durfte dann mit Begleitung und unter Vorzeigen meines Ausweises (den ich beim einchecken nicht gebraucht habe) wieder in das Zimmer. Dann kam ein kurzer Anruf von der Rezeption das man sich geirrt hat. Ich habe wirklich für 3 Tage gebucht! Am Nächsten Tag funktionierte meine keycard wieder nicht. Diesmal war das Gerät schuld das die keycard läd...läuft ja auch 24 Stunden. Am dritten Tag beim auschecken hat sich dann herausgestellt, daß die erste Nacht schon von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht wurde. Gleich bei der Ankunft. Man wollte mir dann noch weiß machen, das die Karte nur zur Sicherheit durchgezogen wurde. Die restl. zwei Nächte hab ich dann auch mit der Kreditkarte bezahlt. Da wollte man dann sogar eine Unterschrift. Auf Nachfrage hat man mir dann auch noch die Rechnung für die erste Nacht gegeben. 3 Nächte im Hotel, zwei Rechnungen mit unterschiedlichem Datum. Auf meinen Kreditkartenauszügen hab ich dann gesehen das wirklich zweimal abgebucht wurde. Einmal eine Nacht, einmal zwei Nächte. Kaum zu fassen. Ich bin enttäuscht.

Хорошее расположение.Стоянка машины без проблем. Завтрак отличный ..Тихо .Тепло .

Останавливался в люксе , и на ресепшене при вьезде и выезде не могли разобраться с нашими завтраками .При вьезде сказали ,что у нас завтрак на 5 этаже бесплатно ,а на 1 за деньги .Все было не так . .Все было включено , но случайно при выезде хотели снять деньги . Мы проявили бдительность и все нам быстро исправили .

Die Lage des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war alles sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut und sauber. Sehr gut war auch, dass Mineralwasser zur Verfügung gestellt wurde und man sich Kaffee "kochen" konnte.

Das Badezimmer (Dusche/Badewannde) war doch etwas "altbacken", allerdings sauber. Der Preis für das Frühstück in Höhe von 29,00 €/Person erscheint doch sehr hoch.
