Hotel Simonis  

Nice large room; shower OK. Free Wi-fi, which is good. Breakfast typical but good. Landlady spoke excellent English.

The staff were all very friendly,helpful, clean and smart ,including the cleaners, and the breakfast was one of the best we,ve had even in much more expensive hotels. We would recommend it to anyone

Good breakfast. Convenient location for visiting Koblenz by train. Hotel is near the centre of a pretty cobbled village.

When booking we wrote "minimum of stairs because of knee operation". Hotel staff offered us a room on the 2nd floor, no lift, and said they had no information about stairs. The room offered may have contained a four poster bed, but was dark and dingy. We did not like it and also could not cope with the stairs. The second room offered was much better, on the first floor, light and airy, and even had coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very small but adequate. We asked where to park and were directed to the nearby banks of the Moselle, a deserted and dark area where we were not happy to leave the car. During a visit to a local restaurant we were told about a large car park 50 m or so away from the hotel, well lit and amongst houses. Why did the hotel staff not tell us about this ? Do you have certain rooms in a hotel assigned to you ?

Kobern Gondolf is a classic romantic German town. Hotell Simonis is for antique lovers built in 1620. Arrive early and have dinner there then walk the cafe lined street and have a beer and laugh like the towns folk do. Check out the old castle up on the hill that is lit up at night.

The hotel was quiet and comfortable. Very close to eateries and exploring the local area. The history of the hotel was fantastic.

Quaint village. Large room. Free parking in village.

No A/C or fan. Noisy because of proximity to train tracks. No elevator. Inconvienent to have to ring hotel bell to be let in when checking in. Quality of sheets were low thread count, and consequently rough texture. Shower was lukewarm.

I liked the ambiance being very old 12th century,it had a nice bar lounge and pleasant dining room and the owners made us feel welcomed. If you do not have a car the railway station is only 10 minutes away. The hotel is situated in a pleasant square withf bars & restaurants.

Het was een uitstekend hotel het ontbijt was goed alles voldoende je kwam niks te kort het werd steeds aangevuld ook personeel heel vriendelijk een echte aanrader om er heen te gaan je kunt er heel mooi fietsen ze zit gelijk aan de moezel

In het hotel was 's avonds niets te doen. Tenminste dat heeft de hoteleigenaar ons niet doen blijken.

Heel mooi dorpje, een gezellig authentiek hotelletje. De grote kamer voor 5 personen was super. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Sehr leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Zimmer im Gästehaus sind sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet.

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Zimmer, auch top Ferienwohnung. Wir waren 6 Paare und alle waren unabhängig voneinander begeistert

Wir hatten eine Suite, das Himmelbett und sie Möbel waren der Hammer. Für so einen günstigen Preis , das beste Hotel was ich kenne. Es ist so gelegen, dass mann rundherum Restaurants hat , von pizzeria zu gourmetküche. Die Hotelinhaber, vertrauen ihren Kunden sehr, man bekommt einen kleinen Schlüssel für die vorderste Tür , so kann man egal um welche Uhrzeit rein und raus während dem Aufenthalt. Bett war belegt mit 2 Federherzen , wo Haribos drin lagen, hinzu waenr Wasserkocher und gratis Tee vorhanden, was eine nette Idee war und Gastfreudnlichkeit aufweist.

Frühstück

Ölradiator wurde bereitgestellt da Heizung nicht in Betrieb.Frühstück ausgezeichnet.

Heizung wurde erst bei Abreise eingeschaltet.

Historisch pand in een klein historisch vakwerkhuizen-stadje, gunstig gelegen aan de Moezel, niet ver van Koblenz.De inrichting van het pand doet ook wat historisch aan. Goed ontbijt. En huisdieren zijn welkom.

ontvangst was heel goed en het onbijt buffet was dik in orde meer dan genoeg alles werdt ook op tijd aangevuld

De bad kamer veel te klein

På booking.com stog det att frukosten ingick i priset men vid utcheckningen tog hotellet extra betalt för frukosten. Ville inte ta betalt med kort utan endast kontant

Wij hadden bij het binnen komen een grote ontgoocheling, de patron in short hulp bij het boeken nihil Het eten was maar zo en zo De buiten terras was niet verzorgd
