Nice atmosphere. I was supposed to have a bathroom at the hallway and ended up having my own. Even the furniture is a bit older, but it gives the hotel a special style The room smelled like parfume after cleaning each day. So I had to open the window every time I got back.

Efficient service, warm design, staffs were friendly. The size of the room is a bit small for the price you pay for. The tv was fuzzy. They could have included some more facilities like coffee makers or water boilers directly in the room, although you could ask the hotel for them.

This hotel is very well located at calm Hamburg district- Eppendorf, near the Urban station, but far enough from noisy and overcrowded Eppendorf Baum. Good rooms, very good breakfast. The price is overestimated, I guess the price around 75-80 Eu/night would be more reasonable for this type of hotel(number)

The helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff. The breakfast was excellent and the bar facilities were good and again with very friendly staff. Would have liked tea making facilities in the room.Would also have appreciated more shelf space as could not reach those in wardroble.

Very well located for University Hospital (20 mins walk) The Hotel areas and rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The bar/lounge area was very pleasant. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good english. Very good breakfast. Our room was non smoking yet someone had obviously been smoking in there previously. The room had an electric kettle and tea was provided but no coffee.

The hotel is located near two subway stations and the street with many shops and restaurants. Hotel staff are very friendly and warmful. And hotel room with classical mood. I love Smolka!

The hotel located in a nice neighborhood, about 30-40 minutes walk from the center of the city, with many restaurant and places to see close by.the hotel is small, clear and quiet, which is all I expected for a short stay in Hamburg.I recommend.

Es hat mir in diesem Hotel sehr gut die Lage, die auffallende Freundlichkeit des Personals und die im Design perfekt abgestimmte Einrichtung des Zimmers gefallen. Auch das Bad war total saniert und bestens ausgestattet. Die Zimmertüren müßten total erneuert oder wegen der Geräusche des Fluraufzugs z.B. gedoppelt oder gepolstert werden.

Es war ein rundum schönes Hotel, auch die Lage einmalig. U-Bahn um die Ecke. Schöne Cafe`s, Lokale und Isemarkt nur ein paar Meter, ebenso die Alster.Wir werden wiederkommen.
