the bed linen - undersheet lined with plastic asked for a "quiet room", no noise from outside the hotel, but was next to the elevator shaft - this is a silly location for a bedroom - poor planning the decor

I enjoyed the location of the hotel very central. The staff where extremely friendly and helpful. The Hotel itself was immaculate and standards of cleanliness excellent. Breakfast had an full selection and of good quality

I wasn't asked if I wanted warm drink when I sat down for breakfast and had to ask on a couple of occasions, but this is a very very minor complaint.

I expect free internet access in a hotel with the standards you have and having in mind the price level you demand from your customers.

Central location within 5 mins walk from the main station. Clean and basic facilities. Decent breakfast if over priced.

Restaurant food choice was poor and over priced.

The gym was very basic - just cardio machines and no weights.

the location was excellent central to train station,shopping areas and the river rhine,all within easy walking distance for all ages and abilities,customer care standards very high.

No tea making facilities as standard

the Mondial is centrally located to the Cathedral and very close to the Xmas Markets that we had planned to visit .

the double room although well furnished , was extremely small ( making access around the bed difficult as there was no provision to store luggage ).

Bathroom with a proper bath.

No coffee/tea facilities available in the room, no slippers provided, receptionist was not very friendly.

WiFi was not available in the hotel, other hotels in the price range do offer this service and will be looking else where next year. When on business you really do need this facility !

The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great one of the best I had here in Europe The hotel location is fantastic: in the front of Ludwig museum, 200 mt far from Cologne Cathedral and very close to river bar and restaurant area.

Room and no so big but enough for a weekend

The location was excellent being bang next to the Railway Station and the Dom. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They let me park the car in front of the hotel while we brought our bags down. That was a thoughtful gesture. Can't say about the restaurant as we did not go there.

The room we stayed in had no view whatsoever. I am pretty sure that is the case with most rooms in the hotel. I wish they had made wifi free as is becoming the norm in most hotels in Asia.

Mostly trivial stuff: The building is an eyesore (but so are many in CGN); the "Classic" rooms are somewhat tiny, but as long as you do not plan to spend to much time there, adequate. No free wifi in the rooms seems miserly in this day and age, as was the outrageously expensive mini bar (which is pretty common everywhere).

A superb choice for breakfast. Very good location for exploring the Alte area, Dom and going to the Tanzbrunnen.

Room was a trifle on the small side for two people, shower could have been hotter. But these are minor negatives.

Well the room we were given wasn't clean! Or ready for new guests. No body bothered to take our bags so we had to drag them to the other room which was also not according to our preferance. The housekeeping staff got into the room while we were both showering and have ignored the dnd sign!!!! The cleaning part is rediculous!! Glasses are kept dirty with used tissues in them..and the tea and coffee bags are not replaced... So i would simply say congratulations on loosing a customer who frequently visits the city....
