excellent service. we will not forget the effort of the staff to make our stay as pleasent as possible. all our needs were fulfilled even our "hidden" needs. we highly recommend this hotel for those who care about good staff service. breakfast was excellent too. wine and mineral warter free in room. we'll return to this hotel next ocasion!

furniture are not modern but in the countryside who cares?!

The Owner was very keen to help in any way, and was obviously proud of his hotel and its good reputation - and was anxious to keep it so. Breakfast was very good. It's a pity that they don't/can't offer evening meals. There was a stock of a variety of good beers & lagers at only 1eur for a 500ml bottle(!), and guests simply helped themselves. The empty bottles were collected daily from the rooms - and presumably counted(?) to be added to the final bill. However, when we left this was overlooked and we had to remind the Owner to charge us for the 14 bottles we had taken..! Great location - we used our free Schwarzwald travel passes on the tram/train to visit Ettlingen and Karlsruhe.

One of the beds in Room 22 creaked a lot at the headboard end.

Nice & clean hotel in Black Forest location, near Baden-Baden (easy to reach by car, but just as well by train). Decent sized rooms with balconny (choose room on the front because main road that runs in the back can be busy). Forest walks start from hotel. Personnel was helpful & friendly - esp. talkative owner who was genuinely welcoming & helpful in any way possible. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but do follow the owner's advise about the restaurants in the village centre - one of them even shuttles visitors back and fro. There is a thermal bath nearby, but we prefered the cosy swimming pool and sauna in the hotel that was available just for us. Good breakfast buffet with personal touch.

O quarto tem uma vista para as montanhas, é. amplo com uma pequenina sala de estar e uma pequena cozinha . Não é possível cozinhar pois não tem panelas e o proprietário indicou que devia ser evitado qualquer cheiro forte. De qualquer forma existem várias opções de restaurantes acessíveis a pé em caminhadas de 5 a 10 minutos. O café da manhã é excelente . Estacionamento na porta é fácil.

Der Hotelier war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Frühstück war für ein Hotel Garni klasse, die Lage ist gut, das Zimmer ist sehr schön mit Balkon, hellen, freundlichen Farben, und bequemer Sitzecke. Die Nasszelle könnte etwas größer sein, aber sonst war alles klasse. Has Haus kann man auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Ich bin in meinem Leben beruflich viel unterwegs gewesen. Soviel persönliche Zuwendung und Gastfreundlichkeit erlebt man sonst nie oder ganz ganz selten.

Un accueil formidable, une gentillesse incomparable, des gens prévenants, à l'écoute, polis, courtois, une simplicité et une gentillesse naturelle, vraiment de quoi rêver et quelque chose de si rare dans le comportement humain actuellement. Nous avons été subjugués par cet accueil et je conseille le petit déjeuner qui est un ravissement. La chambre comporte de surcroît un coin kitchenette, un balcon et est d'une grandeur introuvable en France sauf dans des hôtels de luxe. La télévision grand écran, les lits très confortables... Bref, je ne tarirai pas d'éloges pour le Sonnenhof.

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit Aussicht, neues großes Badezimmer sowie eine kleine Küche eigentlich schon eine Ferienwohnung. Fantastisches Frühstücksbuffet im Orchideen-Wintergarten. Sehr liebenswürdiges Besitzer Ehepaar die jeden Wunsch erfüllen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefüllt.

Das Betreiberehepaar hat sich um alle unsere Belange sofort und nachhaltig gekümmert. Am Wochenende wurde ich sogar bei einem Hexenschuß sofort zum Arzt gefahren und mir wurden Medikamente besorgt. Wir kommen privat wie beruflich in viele Hotels und haben noch nie ein solches Frühstück erhalten, jeden Morgen neue Kreationen, für jeden Geschmack mehrere verschiedene Auswahlmöglichkeiten, hochwertige Qualität, täglich ein Hochgenuß. Zimmer, Speiseraum usw, sowie Schwimmbad absolut sauber, Wasser angenehm warm. Wir werden sicher wieder hinfahren.

L'hotel est bien situé en bordure de cette petite ville et à quelques pas des bains thermaux. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux. Le personnel est très agréable et de bon conseil. Les bons de réductions offerts par l'office du tourisme sont tout a fait appréciable

Gemütliches Hotel mit Besietzern, die sich um jeden Gast bemühen. Super Frühstück - wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Das Besitzer-Ehepaar ist besonders freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl und ein bißchen wie zu Hause. Wenn ich in der Nähe bin, komme ich definitiv wieder!

Выбор отеля оказался идеальным! Отдыхает и душа, и тело:-) Панорамный вид, природа кругом, в меру и деревенского колорита, и инфраструктуры городка. Термы неплохие, релакс полный:-) Парковка есть, миникухня есть со всем необходимым с запасом, уютно, терасса, ребенок был в отдельной маленькой комнате, через ванную, со своим шкафом, туалетом - чему был очень рад:-) Завтраки достойные, разнообразные, очень вкусные, кофе просто супер ( а я уж немало перепробовала). Хозяева радушные, позитивные, утром сами подают завтрак, общаются с гостями, вечером никого нет, вы как дома. Мы взяли в аэропорту машину напрокат, навигатор был без допоплаты, доехали до отеля очень быстро, заскочив в Альди за вином и к нему:-) До Баден-Бадена от отеля с навигаторм очень близко, вообще не чувствуется расстояние. Провели день в Страссбурге (тоже очень близко), сдали машину, заселились в аэропортовский отель и( для ночлега очень неплохой) и рано улетели. Кстати, входы в аэропорт и отель друг напротив друга. И машину если что, надо парковать на стоянке автопрокатчика:-) это тут же. Резюме: отель рекомендую, ничто вам не испортит отдых, комнаты не тесные. Возможно одноместный номер за самую низкую плату может быть микро:-) Просто см площадь номера. Нам предоставили на троих семейный сьют, и это было очень здорово:-) А в нашем двойном:-) в один из вечеров мы смогли собраться с друзьями ( 8 человек), расположиться с комфортом, выпить вина и обсудить планы на следующий день перед сном. Будем вспоминать хозяев и отель с теплыми чувствами!

Чистенький семейный отель. Нереальное ощущения остановки времени. Очень хороший вид из окна.
