Friendly relaxed atmosphere, impressive room. Excellent meals in the evening, the restaurant was very popular with locals and was busy both nights that we stayed. Very good value for money, as I found the meals more than sufficient, and not overpriced. Would definitely return. Not sure about the water bed - would prefer an ordinary one next time. |

Room was very nice and big. Staffs were very helpful. Very good breakfast. Overall was perfect. It's quite difficult to communicate in English or French but staffs were very kind and tried to understand us. |

Good nightstop en-route back from Switzerland to the UK. Very nice, clean and modern hotel rooms and an excellent restaurant. Better signage as to where to check-in would be appreciated. |

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and served in a well appointed and comfortable dining room. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and peaceful. You were totally unaware that the bedroom block had only been built 2 years ago as there was a certain style about it. |

The hotel was very well decorated. Nice room and good (busy) restaurant. Diversion on motorway meant that the road was unusually busy but this must end at some stage. |

We very much enjoyed the owners of the hotel. They tried their bery best to make us feel welcome and help us with English/German translation and any other accomodations we requested. The breakfast was very good as was our other meals. |

Very comfortable country type inn with nice restaurant in rural feeling environment. Very accomodating staff. Inn and room have coordinated colors and is updated. Room was spacious with wonderful bed. Our room was on third floor and no lift. Next to road which looks rural, but has fair amount of traffic. |

Lovely, pleasant room and looks like newly renovated. Nice garden and great food at the restaurant. The water bed takes some getting use to, and the breakfast was a bit sparse. |

We did not expect such a nice room for such a small price! Instead of a typical white hotel room, you get a large though cosy room with a very neat badroom and as a surplus a water bed. |

Great modern comfortable room of good size and tastful decoration. Easy parking. Restaurent food is excelent - but take care, big portions. Very good value for money. You can not walk into town but everything you want is at the hotel including a beer garden. Stay in and try the food and wine. Everything is 100% value for money and quality. Great staff. |

The hotel is ver modern with very well appointed bedrooms and en suite facilities. The restaurant is very good with a good choice of food and excellent cooking. The bar however is like a country pub which is used by local people and that I liked very much. |

We found Hotel Sonnenhof to have surprisingly good rooms for the value. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a homey and cozy feel about it. My son and I were not happy with the restaurant for dinner. We found the food too heavy and rich. The Germans from the immediate vicinity will not agree with me as they seemed to come from far and wide to eat there. Yet we would have preferred a more international variety to choose from. We chose this hotel as on your site, they recommend their restaurant as being particularly good. |

Zeer ruime en propere kamers. Ontbijt sober maar goed. Restaurant is druk bezocht door lokale mensen, dus bewijs van goede kwaliteit en lekker eten. Klein beetje nachtlawaai zolang het restaurant open is (tot 24u) |

La propreté, aussi bien dans les chambres que dans le reste de l'établissement; chambres confortables et bien insonorisées; décoration chaleureuse, petit-déjeuner buffet très bien garni. Puisque tout le personnel ne parle qu'allemand (même pas qques mots de français ou d'anglais), le minimum serait de faire traduire les cartes du restaurant ! Dans la chambre, aucune notice ne précisant la manière d'utiliser le décodeur/satellite pour le fonctionnement de la tv (où d'ailleurs les chaînes non allemandes sont verrouillées !!!) |
