This modern sports hotel is in the district of Plüggentin, a mile from Samtens, on Rügen. It offers an extensive range of sports and spa facilities, and spacious rooms.

The Störtebecker Sporthotel Rügen has rooms with free Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV channels and a private bathroom. All rooms can be reached by elevator. Most rooms look over Rügen’s countryside.

The Störtebecker’s restaurant overlooks the sports area, and serves seasonal and traditional German specialties made with fresh, regional produce. The Irish pub offers has a bowling alley.

The spa area includes a swimming pool and sauna area with hot sauna, bio-sauna and Finnish-style log cabin. These facilities can be used by guests of the Störtebecker for free.

Additional sports facilities include indoor tennis courts, an 8,610 ft² fitness center, mini-golf and a game room with pool table and darts. Bikes can be rented from the Sporthotel as well.

Holger Solo traveler Berlin, Germany July 5, 2011	Das Angebot an Sport und Wellness ist sehr grosszügig gestaltet. Auch das Frühstück ist gut. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorm Hotel vorhanden. Die Möglichkeiten um sich sportlich zubeschäftigen, da war das Angebot sehr gross und vielseitig. Die Küche bereitete sehr leckere Portionen zu, egal ob zum Frühstück oder Abendessen. Das Problem mit der Internetverbindung hat nicht geklappt. Für mich war es sehr wichtig, aber es funktionierte nicht auch nicht im Empfangsbereich wie mir empfohlen wurde. Sehr ungewöhnlich war auch, das es scheinbar keinen Zimmerservice gibt, so dass wir uns unseren "Nachmittagskaffee"selbst aus dem Restaurant holen mußten. Desweiteren hatten wir, bis auf zwei Ausnahmen, aufgrund der Körpersprache der Kellner das Gefühl, dass diese nicht glücklich in ihrem Job waren. Lothar Group of friends Berlin, Germany December 1, 2010	Die Zimmer und das Bad sind relativ großzügig ausgelegt. Die vielfältigen Sportmöglichkeiten fand ich gut. Das Doppelbett war mit 1,40 m Breite, zu klein. Das Frühstück könnte abwechslungsreicher sein, mehr Produkte der Region.
