The St Georg is literally on the doorstep of the old city and is surrounded by restaurants, bars and nightclubs, shops in the old city. it's also, a five minute walk from the Rhine and only one minute to the U Bahn.
Absolutely nothing. A great all round package at a decent price
Location - perfect for Altstadt, Rhein & shopping, with a U-bahn station 3mns away.
Breakfast room very cramped if too many people there at the same time.
staff is very friendly and they have put in some effort location is great as it is in the middle of the Altstadt and has superb travel links thanks to the underground
internet not available on the room TV channels are not working (noise levels too high) Light not working in main room. showers on level 3 were temperamental in regrd to the temepratrue of the water swinging from too cold to boiling hot.
The hotel is situated just at the most attractive spot of Düsseldorf.
No internet - even though I paid only 59,- Euro for a night I simply demand internet, that is easy to connect any device to - and I would happily pay a few Euro in addition herefore
Excellent location for someone coming for the Jazz Rally - and for the Opera. Friendly staff. Good German breakfast.
The windows of my room gave on Hunsrückenstrasse and the people partying there through the two nights were quite noisy. However, I used the ear-plugs provided by the hotel (good idea!) and slept relatively well. There was indeed something wrong with the shower, it was difficult to adjust it so that the water would not be either too hot or too cold.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Dusseldorf's old town. It's the middle of all the nightlife. Don't expect a quiet experience. Great fun . A family run hotel and everyone goes the extra mile to be helpful.
Hostel directly in center of Dusseldorf, you have all restaurants, bars, ... very close.
Nice people very good location
Well located, friendly staff, very clean room, good breakfast, comfortable beds, quieter than expected.
Minor point - had to adjust hot water system, slightly hot in room.
Staff was excellent! Location was Excellent!
I understand that their selling point is the location. I also understand the money they spend investing in the property has to make sense. But still having tube TVs from the 1980s is not acceptable, especially for what they charge for the rooms.
Very helpful receptionists. Rooms and bathroom clean. Hot drinks available at all times from the machine in reception. Superb location for Christmas markets.
The reception area smelled of smoke (not breakfast time). Room lighting (bulbs needed replacing). No fresh coffee at breakfast (only from machine) and some breakfast items ran out (rolls, yoghurt).
Friendly straff Good breakfast
Small room in bad condition A lot of noice from the street Cold room, only a heatet on the floor
Hello, The stuff were really friendly. The breakfast very good. Close to everything.
It is in front of two Irish Pup, so this is defenitely not a family hotel. If you go there be sure you won't sleep all night. They do not offer baby beds either.
The location is excellent to visit the ALDSTAT and next to the underground.
We stayed in a three bed room but the 3rd bed was a blow up bed and very low,not good for a supposed up market hotel.
Noisy, no minibar, furniture is awful, it was only one coat hunger at my room
