Located beside a park in the Lower Allgäu region of Bavaria, this quiet hotel offers a swimming pool, sauna and free Wi-Fi. All rooms include a balcony overlooking Ottobeuren Abbey. Wake up to a rich buffet breakfast, and set out to explore the nearby castles and churches. Lunch and dinner are available (except on Sundays and Mondays) in the hotel dining room. A lovely hotel beautifully situated, with very nice and accommodating staff. Efficient check-in and check-out. We stayed overnight to catch an early flight from Memmingen. Dinner as well as breakfast very good.

Great location with stunning views if your fortunate enough to be in front facing bedrooms. Ideal for sight-seeing and great location for family-traveller. Free wi-fi, friendly & helpful staff, beds really comfortable, very spacious room. The decor of the hotel was great. Lack of hotel parking facilities.

The family rooms for 4 are big and comfortable, with a nice brand new bathroom and a balcony with a nice view. The swimming pool is small but cosy. The woods are just behind the hotel and a nice park is just next to it. The breakfast was very nice too. Walking distance to town. Highly recommendable.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel St. Ulrich. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the nice breakfast room and the wonderful view. There are a couple of nearby trails to follow for those who enjoy exploring. The room was nice for the price and the bathroom was clean. We all agree that we'd enjoy staying here again.

This hotel is really nice and cosy. It is calm besides the early bells from the abbey. It is nicely located close to the village of Ottobeuren without the noise from it. The indoor swimming pool is really a pleasant place to rest. The breakfast is international and good. Our daily hot chocolate has been especially appreciated. The dining room is really nicely decorated. The abbey and the church close by are really amazing sites to visit - and it's free. The hotel managers, both he and she, are really nice, careful and pleasant people. Stay away from family rooms as these kind of young neighbors can unfortunately be really noisy early in the morning ;-) Do not go there if you do not like being awaken by church bells or the light of the sun. No bus from the airport. Taxi or car rental required if you wish to sleep there before getting the train at Memmingen to Munich the day after.

Proximity to wooded area, views of amazing must see church. A negative the church rings the bells at night!!! Evening meal very nice at a very reasonable price. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very nice and helpful.

Location and very spacious rooms, the indoor swimming pool was also very nice. The view on the historic cathedral was great. Good breakfast and friendly people. Everything overall very fine: there were no hair shampoos in the bathroom. no wifi in the room

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, direkt am Waldrand mit herrlichem Blick auf Ottobeuren. Das Zimmer war zwar sehr sauber aber auch sehr klein und die Enrichtung nur zum Teil renoviert, also eher zweckmäßig.

Sehr ruhige Lage mit Blick ins Grüne und auf die Basilika. Grosses, schönes Zimmer mit Schreibtisch und grossem Schrank und Abstellflächen selbst im Badezimmer. Hübsche Gaststube und gute Küche. Das Pesonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten und gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Wir werden nach Möglichkeit wieder kommen.
