Staff were great and spoke very good English. Extremely helpfull. Great location, very clean and comfortable. Good value for money

Location, free internet, kind staff

Room was worn out and shows the hotel needs a big renovation in general. It was not the cleanest hotel I have to admit. (Found bonbons under the sofa)

The staff was quite friendly. Katherin Jonsek was incredibly helpful and has a great attitude!

It is a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and good staff members. I will definitely stay here again. Everything was excellent!

The computer in the lobby is the slowest I have ever used. Wi-fi seemed good though. It is a good distance from the train station, although you can take two trams and then a 4-5 minute walk or take a taxi for 7 Euros.

Slow Internet, was really very hard to use it You have to update an access code of Internet each third day. I was stating 9 days and was have to do this 3 times. And can you imagine if you are having a conversation with somebody via Internet and its get suddenly closed and you have to run to reception to get a new code each time . Not so convince. Breakfast was good but the vareriaty of food and meals was just 3 types and they were same each day The Furneture is not the great one, kind of old Pillows were teribile it was really not comfortable to sleep with them Mini bar were having 2 small hotels of water and juce. And when you drink one they change them just only on the 3 day of my stay Restourant in the hotel was really expencive , we had another hotel across the street with nice modern design, and the prices at the Restourant was much cheaper up there

Nice position, at 5 minutes from the center and in a quite area. Hotel is ok, maybe slightely overpriced. Some people in the group appreciated the shower

Some other people in the group did not appreciate the shower: shower hose was kind of broken and loosing water, in the morning very bad stink coming from the shower. Cleaning service knocking on rooms at 10 am on Sunday was not really appriciated as well: they have electronic key system, they should be able to know if people are in the room or not.

Clean and inexpensive.

They have limited parking, yet you cannot reserve a space. When we arrived, they said there were no spaces. They also failed to let us into the parking area to unload so we could then sort out the parking later. I had to park illegally first, then go into the hotel and ask if I could pull in to unload. The staff seems to think this parking system is fine and does not need to be altered to make it more guest friendly.

Staff very friendly and helpful Huge room right by elevator and on street in front of hotel but didn't hear any noise. Very clean and modern. Walking distance to everything and easy to get to from train station. We walked and it took us about 15 min but there are trams that take about 5-10 minutes.

Everything was fine. I stayed in this hotel several times, and this time they gave me more convenient room by the same price as usual room. It was very nice. Location is the best because you are living in quite place but one step to historical center. BIO breackfast, massage, fresh rooms with new sanitary and free and speed internet, It's the best hotel in Freiburg in 70-150 euro price level. I stayed in several hotels but this is the best.

It was well located in the city centre, only a 5 minte walk to the Münster. The hotel receptionists didn't know much about the surroundings but they were very willing looking things up fo you (using google).

The parking spot behind the hotel is very narrow and small, a kind of back alley with some spots. If you're not able to manoeuvre you're car on the square centimete, think twice before parking there. At the beginning of the street there's a huge parking garage where you can park for only a few euro's more, but you're sure you won't damage your car and that you can leave whenever you want and not get parked in. Also the beds were quite hard. My boyfriend likes it that way but he normally only likes it sleeping on the floor - to compare. Even though the staff was friendly enough to look things up, they wouldn't help us reserve theatre tickets and only gave us the phone number from the booking agency. Luckily I do talk German, if you don't it might be quite difficult booking anything. Missed opportunity (for this class hotel)

Quality and look of the room and furnishings. Location near the old town. Friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk personnel.

Air conditioning would have been nice when the weather got really hot. Space for luggage only allows for one small case, and we'd had two large cases so floor was cluttered. Minibar took up too much space which could have been used for an additional chair.

The breakfast was good.

- I specifically asked in writing, in advance, for a quiet room. They gave me a room overlooking a noisy street. I could not sleep. I had to have the window open because the weather was very warm. No a/C. Noisy people in the street all night. - The bed was small - I arrived Fri and stayed till Sun. The room was never cleaned nor the towels replaced. - I wanted to tell the reception on Sun morning when I checked out but they were too busy.

The public areas were rather old-fashioned compared to the room. Availability of room service was disappointingly limited, as were the opening hours of the bar.

Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, free internet, lovely, spacious room with a bath tub!

Das KOMFORT-DZ-Zimmer: Jede Schiffskabine bietet mehr Platz und Ambiente. Außerdem Mikrodusche inkl. Rohrgestank und bretterharte Matratzen. Ach ja, und Ameisen hatten wir auch als Zimmergenossen ( im 3. Stock!). Gott sei Dank hatten wir nur für eine Nacht gebucht, denn beim Frühstück ging das Glück weiter mit langen Haaren IN der Butter... Beim Auschecken wurde unsere Beschwerde hinsichtlich des Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses lapidar abgetan und kaltlächelnd 151,00 € abkassiert. Nie wieder!
