Very comfortable bed, nice little bathroom, warm room (good as it was cold outside) Quiet room so got a great night's sleep. Good breakfast and very sweet lady serving it. She didn't speak English, but it didn't matter. Such a gracious hostess. Very close to train station and port! Really recommend this hotel.
No instructions in English for using the internet, so I couldn't access wifi. Maybe add a sheet in English about this?
Good Price/value ratio. Perfect location. Good Breakfest Great shame for the Staff because this is really good hotel for a low price.
The Staff ( woman around 50) is really unfriendly: She always tell what you have to do. When I tried to pay 340€ with 500€ she was furious and told: "You have smaller, let's pay with that!" I think he can say, sorry this is not accepted but she should not look into my wallet and shouting. This story was only the top it all. No free wifi!
You can find parkplace on the street and not expensive (8-18 h 5cent/5 min) Good Breakfest with vegetables and with toothy bun. Comfortable room.
- No Wifi - Staff is strange, sometimes unfrendly
The hotel was cheap and the rooms basic but clean
I arrived at the hotel and my international phone. Thank goodness there was someone who worked at the hotel who could help. She let me use their phone and I was able to check in. However, the conversation was rather long winded nd would have cost me bout 15 Euro if I had paid with my mobile. I suggest the hotel management email the check-in instructions to the guests - a hotel in Sweden did exactly that. Also, no information regarding the WiFi was given - i guessed the password from what was written on some info in my room, else I would not have had WiFi for the first night, which on an international business trip is often crucial.
No curitains on window. In the summer the lights come early in the morning
poor facilities phone check in Planned power outage at breakfast time !!
Location was close to the water but far enough to not be crowded
Parking on the street was sometimes hard to get close to hotel
Close to habour. At breakfast the Hostess was comedy gold (the love-shild of Manuel and Sybil)
Calling a random phone number to get let in. More Crystalmaze shenaigans!
Location was good. Breakfast was decent. Bed was comfortable.
There is no staff on site. When you arrive you have to call someone and then they give you a code to get in. You then get your own keys and set off to find your room. The bathroom was dirty-hair everywhere and mold in the shower. There was no bicycle parking so we had to carry our bicycles up the windy staircase. There was no bar in the hotel as stated on the description of the hotel.
Room very clean, very good staff, good breakfast, great location. We will be staying at another time.
The entrance is at the back, and the door is locked, little stres. After there is no problem with the code entry.
location modern room friendly welcome good communication
cleaner knocking early neighbours have a view overpriced
Room size and location
It was very close to Friedrichshafen harbor and town centre. The breakfast was normal German fare, and very good.
It was a little hot in my room, because it was up in the roof and we had 30degC that day. Any other normal day would probably provide a more comfortable temperature.
The only hotel on our trip that had wifi that enabled us to us our I-phones. The room was comfortable.
Very difficult to check in. There was no staff on the property and a phone call to management was required to obtain a code to get in the front door and obtain the key to the room. This was impossible for U.S. travelers who didn't have local phone access. The hotel was on a noisy intersection and in a residential neighborhood with few local amenities nearby. The breakfast was the most limited of all the hotels on our trip.
Location was really good. Very close to town although far from where I needed to get to. Staff (although very little interaction) were very pleasant
When I arrived I had to phone a local number. If I did not have my mobile with me or the facilities to do so then I would have not been able to enter the hotel. This should be told to the customer as you book to be aware of this.
You have to have a telephone to check in. No front door or lobby.
It was a short walk from the railway station, going through the pedestrian precinct, and with cabin-luggage sized wheelie bags. Also a short walk to the lakeside.
We had to use a code to get in the door, and it wouldn't open for us. Someone had to come and open for us. The wifi didn't work at all - even after we got it written down for us. The wifi instructions in the room were in German.
Breakfast was ok, plenty of choices Staff was nice Check-in via phone call worked easily
No free parking during the week
The location is good. Either for ship travelling or Zeppline museum visiting is very convenient. The room is also comfortable and quite in everning.
The lady who serve breakfest is not good.her working attitude needs to improve ! Breakfeast could not be included in room fee but your rufe attitude caused negative effect to our wonderful trip.
Nice room, very quiet. Great shower, although it did flood the bathroom a bit! Very comfy bed Good sized TV, no English channels, not even CNN for the news! Close to waterfront, ferry, Zeppelin Museum.
Area was suburban, although outside my window was a sex shop and tattoo parlour! Weird welcome, you have to ring reception on arrival and they give you the code to the door and tell you which key to take! Not a very friendly welcome. The breakfast was reasonable, both the dinning room attendant and cleaner were grumpy!
Style is a bit bohemian chic that meets IKEA. Everything is clean and tidy. The colors and paintings on the walls are maybe a bit bold, but it offers good value for money nevertheless. The owners were really nice, friendly and helpful.
Problems with WiFi Poor breakfast Too small room No crew
