The hotel webpage said internet is available in public areas; actually, guests are limited to the one pc in the lobby and are not permitted to use their own machines (neither on wifi nor on ethernet). There were lots of people in line to use that one pc in the lobby, so it was rather unpleasant having to wait so long.

I have stayed in the Star Inn many times on my business trips to Munich. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is well presented and of good quality. On this occasion I took my wife to Munich to see the Christmas Markets and I did not hesitate choosing the Star Inn for our break as I knew it would meet all our travel needs. The choice of food and drink behind the bar is quite limited.

The Hotel was very clean and inexpensive. The Hotel was kind of far away from the center of the city. However, there is a bus stop very close to the hotel that takes you to the subway entrance. Traveling to the Marienplatz from the Hotel took about 15-20 mins by public transportation and cost very little. A cab ride took about the same and cost 20 euro.

Very good and friendly service at reception.Clean rooms. New furniture. Beds are good to sleep on. Large shower cabin. Decent breakfast for 11 Euro, inclusive cold sparkling wine (Sekt). No WiFi included, though somewhat compensated by free laptop access at the reception. TV screen of poor quality.

The room was spacious and very clean! The location is a little 'industrial' but it is close to the tramway. There is no food available on site other than the European continental breakfast, so it is necessary to travel for meals. The hotel staff was very accommodating when my travelling companions ordered food in though, providing cutlery etc.
