Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt

The hotel was located 2-4 minutes drive from the airport, and conviniently closed to a Gas Station on the way to the Airport (Perfect for fueling up before returning a rental car). It also had continuos free shuttle service going between the Airport and the Hotel. There is a beautiful restaurant on the back of the Hotel with outdoor sitting, and very nice bar next to the lobby. The rooms were excellent and had 5 star quality (considering the price it was a fantastic deal).

The front desk can get pretty busy because a lot of the Airline Crew members stay at the hotel. There is constantly people checking in or out. Also, the parking can be pretty expensive and it's not directly connected to the hotel building.

The hotel staff was accomodating as possible.

No access to phones or computers without great costs attached. Many hotels offer computer access for free. I wanted to check with my airline online prior to departure but would have been charged high costs. I had to then go earlier to the airport and then didn't get a seat assigned because I didn't check in online the night before.....so think about offering more customer service options with having to pay many euros for these services. I called usa 4 times and only got answering machines.....this cost me 20 euro and I didn't even get someone on the other line.......

It is a compforting feeling to know you can go to a buisness like that and be treaded like you are at home.Thank you till the next time.

The hotel is conveniently location adjacent intern'l airport and offers good shuttle service at 15 min. interval transport to airport.

The hotel is somehow in need of renovations in some rooms as no hot water was available in four rooms to which we were relocated. This is likely temporary.

Fast checkin, quiet, clean room, close to airport

Close to the Airport with outstanding shuttle service. We checked in early and did not expect a room to be ready, but it was and it was greatly appreciated since we put uo our luggage and then turned in the rental car early at the airport and it worked out perfectly. Thanks.

Please understand that we toured Germany and when we got to the airport we were only a litle hungry. We ate great food all over Germany until we had a pizza at the hotel. It was the worst pizza and the most expensive one we had in Germany. Bad tasting green salad topping.

The room was pleasant, surprisingly not as clean as I expected.

No free parking: one has to use the public parking at a rate of 18 euros a night! Phoning is extremely expensive (don't use the number they provide next to the phone, as you'll be charged about $20 a minute!!!! The public phone downstairs does not work (and probably has not for at least a year, as it was out of order last time there too)

The location being so close to the airport, the restaurants, full size baby crips and the customer service

Price for parking car. It is not the hotels fault, it is all that is offered in the area.

convenience and good previous experience in past stays.

we had booked 2 rooms deluxe category. Rm 1 had 2 adults and rm 2 had 3 adults. we were placed in the 3rd floor where the rooms had old carpet and furniture. They squeezed in an extra bed in a superior room. On quering them on the category of the room they shifted us to a junior suite on the same floor.

the price for a breakfast is to expensive (28€ if you decide to breakfast at the morning, 21€ if yo decide at check in)
