This extraordinary 4-star hotel enjoys a central location in Dortmund, across from the stadium and close to the exhibition center. Newly renovated in summer 2012, the Steigenberger Hotel Dortmund combines top-class living comfort with a relaxed and homey atmosphere. The cozy seating and nostalgic photographs in the hotel restaurant provide an informal atmosphere. You can listen to the jukebox in the bar, and relax with a local Dortmund beer on the terrace in summertime. The Steigenberger is close to the Signal-Iduna-Park (Germany’s largest soccer stadium), the Westfallenhallen and the conference center. Only positive remarks regarding suport given by the hotel Beware of taxies in Holzwickede ! Taxi ordered through the hotel for 6:30 next morning never came. No help in this small city. Had to go by foot to the airpport 3,5 km away. Barely made it for my flight...

Friendliess and helpfulness of staff. Early check in no extra charge. No free wifi in public areas or rooms. 4.5 euros an hour minimum charge. In this day and age when most people have acces to wifi phones and tablets this lets the hotel down. I cannot remember the last time I stayed in a 4*hotel anywhere that did not have free wifi in at least the public areas.

Чисто, тихо, хорошее постельное белье и климат в номере. Хорошие завтраки. До центра города 6 евро на такси или 15 минут пешком. Тем кто приезжает на футбол идти 10 минут. Платный Wi-Fi
