Excellent hotel, with very efficient and friendly staff. A very good deal indeed. breakfast was very good and there are many very good restaurants all around the hotel. Leipzig itself is very well worth a visit and architecturally beautiful.

Good location, only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Efficient staff.

Although excellent, it is really a business hotel. No personal touches, nobody asking after a few days if everything is ok. (We stayed 5 nights). Our room looked down on the courtyard and was very dark.

i thought the bar area needed upgrading. the decor is too corporate and cold, and a bit tacky as compared to the rest of the hotel.

How to drive to the hotel is difficult

This hotel is superbly located right in the middle of the Christmas markets fin the old town. it was quiet, comfortable and staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. 7-10 minute walk to station, buses and trams. Would have no hesitation in staying again and would highly recommend.

we rated comfort slightly down as room and bedding were too hot despite using air conditioning in the middle of winter. We ate breakfast in the local bakeries as breakfast was not included and too costly in the hotel.

Everything except Internet strength and speed

Excelent location . It's a cleaning hotel . Good attendants at reception desk.Good restaurant .Room have all what a traveler needs.Sofas at the lounge of bar it's confortable.

Attendants that work at bar and concierge are arrogant and impolite with foreigners . They need training to treat people and talk good english.That's what travelers hope of a 5 stars. Internet falls many times.

The hotel was extremely clean and luxurious. It was really a 5star hotel. The rooms are nicely sized and the bathrooms are amazing.

for the amount of money you pay, parking shouldnt be an extra 25euros a day and breakfast should also be included. Breakfast was an additional 25euro per person. We walked down into the city to a local bakery for a much cheaper breakfast.

A delightful experience. Our room was beautifully decorated, bathroom superbly presented, breakfast excellent and the meal and service at the Brasserie outstanding. Staff, incuding the receptionist on our arrival were particularly helpful and charming.

The performance of housekeeping was rather poor and a bit erratic. Complaints about this were not handled properly : apparently housekeeping functions as "a state within the state" and performs more or less beyond any central control.

Our second stay in 6 months. Wonderful hotel. Great location, beautiful rooms. Valet service includes having your car windshield cleaned if it needs it and a fresh bottle of water for your trip. Nice touch! Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Minor complaint...we were there for two days but only one bottle of water was provided for two people. Would expect one bottle per day.

We liked everything about this hotel and we will go there each time we are in Leipzig

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary there and it was splendid. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay even more than when we stayed at much more expensive hotels. The location is great - right in the centre of all the attractions and shops. The stuff is very friendly. My wife forgot a bag in the room when we were on our way to Berlin already. The stuff had no problems with finding the bag when we called. We were so pleased with our stay that we decided to go there, pick up our bag and stay for one more romantic night. The decor of spacious rooms and the athmosphere of the whole hotel are perfect for spending some good time with your beloved one.

The wifi didn't work and the sad thing was that the hotel doesn't quite get how important internet connection is, as the problem persisted for well over 24 hours, specially when you are on a business trip. They did offer me free access to the business lounge, but then again the internet was not working either. Eventually I was offered a PC to work from the reception desk, which was not ideal either, but at least it showed willingness to help. So I give 10/10 to the staff and 0/10 to management for not understanding that internet connection is as important as anything else ! The Hotel was brilliant though and would book again

Baggage stuff was not able to find stored luggage at first. They searched further after we say that they have to search further to find it. Also there were a couple of complications of reservations between booking.com and this hotel. This was really very bad.
