Location, bed, nice room
No parking available had to use public parking 2 blocks away. Breakfast was expensive
The location and the facility
Never found heating system working ??? In the restaurant the staff never returned after we asked for few more glass of water ???!!!! Felt insulted.
smart decor, location was excellent, rooms are good size, super breakfast, felt luxurious
smell of smoke in the bed room but when I approached the desk they changed and upgraded our room no problem - I was very impressed with this, bathrooms are small but clean
Nice hotel, nice location
Pillows were years old and the bar is small small small.
This is best hotel in Dusseldorf
Friendly staff. Great room, loved the art on the walls and great location.
The wifi deal was not business-travellor-oriented. I had access to some wifi (that I took for granted was it) but only got annoyed because it was too slow and I couldnt work. When I had time to ask about the speed I was offered an upgrade to businees wifi for 8€, which only made me more annoyed. Really for the best feeling of service and comfort for guests you should just offer a decent speed wifi to start with, integrate that small cost of 8€ to the room charge and everyone would be just happy - at least if you are going to be appealing to business travellors. Thank you!
Best location in Düsseldorf whether you're visiting or on business. The buffet breakfast is good as well, however, any egg-dish must be ordered which is pretty inconvenient...
WiFi is free, however slow and you need a voucher for each 24h. Single rooms are really single in term of space. The rooms are a bit dark and the decor might not be everyone's taste. As I understood, the hotel is under refurbishment, hence, some rooms are alredy updated and some not yet.
Breakfast Staff Room Big TV
Food is terrible and the service is indeed even worse.
Everything was outstanding about this hotel. Meal taken in Artiste restaurant was extremely good.
It is really difficult to fault anything but we would have liked a little more time between courses in the Artiste restaurant. This is purely a personal preference and would not put us off dining there again.
accommodation and staff
paying extra for breakfast with such an expensive room
Good location but not the best hotel
Receptionist, no swimming pool, no spa, paid parking, small rooms, had a booking and no rooms.
1. Staf in reception 2. No swimming pool 3. Restaurant
I like the location & staff
room is too small also bathrooms
City location was excellent and the charges for parking at the hotel were very reasonable.
We stayed for 3 nights and requested 2 twin rooms and preferably adjacent or opposite if possible well before our arrival. This request was ignored. We were allocated 2 doubles, 4 rooms apart. The spa area was out of order. We weren't told this on check in and had to discover this for ourselves. The superior double rooms with 'high ceilings' were nice but hardly superior. According to the floor plans posted on each landing, they were in fact the smallest rooms in the hotel. The rooms ceilings were average height. Th shower was over the bath in both rooms. The water did not drain away as the plug hole was blocked with a build up of hair (not ours). We reported this to reception and asked for this to be fixed. It wasn't. We requested martini cocktails in the main hotel bar and was told it could only serve the ones on the menu and no others (champagne cocktails). We later asked if there was another bar in the hotel where we could get a martini cocktail and we were told there was. A pity the bar staff didn't tell us earlier. The food and bar prices were ridiculously expensive. We probably wouldn't have minded if the rest of our stay had been to the level it promises in its glossy brochures but it wasn't. Overall not impressive for the price. We wouldn't recommend it.
A.C is very poor
Comfort, location, hotel staff were great
Breakfast was fair. Had to pay for outside parking.
