Steigenberger Hotel Metropolitan  

Erinomainen sijainti kaupunkimatkalle, junalla helppo liikkua lähikaupunkeihin ja lentokentälle. Rauhallinen, aseman äänet eivät kantautuneet huoneeseen.

The credit card suffered after this hotel. They authorized the amount and then charged another amount (extra to the authorized). So, that you temporarily loose twice bigger money - 1900 instead of 800 EUR in my case - imagine what a surprise it was!! Better have a card with the exact amount available in it, otherwise you'll feel... eh, say, "inconvenience". Or use cash.

Exactly what I needed. Out of the railway station and into a 5-star hotel. Peace and quiet. Ideal for a stopover and rest, or for an extended 5-star experience. Excellent all-round quality and luxury.

Maybe a little far for some, (although only 1Km), from the main city center. If I had wanted to be nearer the city center, I would have chosen the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof on Willy Brandt Platz.

Nice professional staff. Clean and overall nice.

Near the train station and within reach (walkable/ short ride) to a number of interesting places - shopping, eatery, events/ seminars. Close enough to Airport

As a 5 star rated hotel you will expect they will park your car for you!!!!!! But not the case with Steigenberger Hotel Metropolitan go park it your self when I asked them to the would say where is one person at the door and can't leave the front door what a 5 star

I've been to several hotels surrounding Frankfurt Hbf, but this is the best one I've ever stayed and will definitely come back next time. The room is spacey, comfortable, clean, quiet, safe, nice-decorated, staffs are nice.

Wife is free but slow and very unstable. The entrance to main lifts are utilized by placing spare tables that make it looks like a kitchen.

I loved the hotel .It ws comfortable . The staff was obliging. The restaurant was excellent. And most of all, the location ws fabulous for my needs.

Free internet , but very weak connection

Most facilities were to accepatable modern standards except as stated below under "what didn't you like"

Bedding/room temperature - we occupied 5 rooms and all occupants stated rooms could not be cooled sufficiently to be able to use the doona provided and therefore made sleep difficult if at all. Opening the window provided sufficient cooling but, due to hotel location, allowed too much background noise to enter room thus preventing sleep. Solution - adjust in room themostat to allow cooling below cuurent 18C minimum allowed. Bedding/pillows - pillows are far too soft and provide no useful support and should be replaced to be of any benefit to guests.

I checked in at 6:45 am after flying from Australia and they actually gave me a room that early! The room had a lovely big bath which is unusual for a standard Euro room. It was lovely to soak in a big bubble bath after travelling for 30+ hours. The room was great, the service great and the location great. When I'm in Frankfurt again I'll definately stay here.

The morning newspaper at my room door, excellent restaurant food.

Although breakfast was excellent and good choice, but no vegetables, muesli not so good as other German hotels, should be better

Room was very cleaned and good facilities. And very easily access to station and airport transpotation.

Everything is to a high standdatd. Very comfortable and well designed rooms. Comfortable beds. Great brekfast, nice longue. Friendly staff. I had gret time there!

Not very important, entrance and those tables stored by the elevator do not match high standards of everythin else.
