Horrible shower...small stall and the shower curtain sticks to you
Super Lage und Preis-leistungs-Verhältnis
The central location , the spacious room
The bells of the cathedrale ringing every quarter during the night - from 2 am to 7 am. It was lovely except for thoose who may have some trouble falling asleep. We would have loved to have tea-making facilities in the room .
Nice location, good restaurant with excellent draft beer essentially in the Hotel. Friendly staff.
Good location and very nice facilities. Dining facilities also very good. Would definately stay at this Hotel and recommend to fellow travellers
Smoking rooms are so 20th century.
proximity to train station and shops, restaurant is fairly priced and the food is good. The bed is very comfortable, lovely bedding also.
the hotel is old and showing signs of wear and tear although everything was functional. The walls are thin, and on several occasions throughout the night it sounded as though someone was hammering nails into a wall. One must also get used to the church bells which, although pleasant, do ring throughout the night.
Rapid booking in and booking out no fuss. Good location in centre of town easy to get to from station. Good food and drink. Pleasant staff very accommodating to our needs.
Pillows could have been better. Location good but noisy. You have to close windows during night.
Easy access to train station, 0.5km, to city centre and tourist spots. Excellent choice of food in restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms fairly basic - no fancy soaps or shampoo, only basic liquid soap pump dispenser.
Breakfast, loaction and beds.
Busy street, small bathroom.
Friendly atmospher and great food
best about the hotel is its location and garage
the rest is so so
Hotel just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Allowed to park our motorcycles in the hotels underground car park for no charge. Beds comfortable although only one very soft pillow/bed. Food very good, lots of choice at breakfast, evening meal reasonably priced.
Hotel lobby/restaurant very well kept however same couldn't be said for our room, paper starting to peel, toilet had crack in the bowl, general signs of showing its age. Shower over bath, which was a bit of a bind getting in and out as toilet adjacent. Left waiting 5-7 miutes at lobby to check out, no one at the desk [another guest did say this was unusual]
The terrible noise all night coming off the street. No sleep due to the constant noise of drunks and cars until after 4am...Never again....We should have asked for another room off the Main Street or they should have had the decency to give us a quieter room as the hotel was not fully booked. I stayed hear 26 years ago and it was a much friendlier place to stay in those days
Location is very good beside train station.
The room is very dirty and the furniture is so old. Expensive comparing with the bad room.
Excellent location with easy access to the city.
WIFI did not work well enough for much of anything.
Good location in Ulm and nice food.
Rooms are old style and in no contrast to the ground floor looking very good and modern.
Wifi was poor in the room.
near Center, very good breakfast
well located comfortable good service right price
Location, breakfast and the helpfulness of the gentleman on reception.
the menu for the restaurant was only in German and none of the waitresses could translate
Everything! It was in excellent location - 5 mins walk from Minster (we could see it from room window) and in opposite direction from station. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was good size with comfortable bed and excellent en-suite. Breakfast was good-plenty of choice. Possible to get hot drinks in restaurant at virtually any time. Reception area was undergoing restoration during our stay but staff managed to make sure we were not inconvenienced in any way. The city is lovely interesting place and in good location for making day trips to other towns and cities. Tip for travellers - a special day train ticket on regional trains for up to 5 people is excellent value for money (e.g. 26 euros for 2) and because Ulm is on border of 2 regions you can choose between Bayern ticket or Baden-W - just make sure you know which region your destination station is in! We would definitely go there again. We went this time on Christmas market trip so atmosphere was festive but I imagine it will be lovely area to visit in warmer weather too.
Being English, we would have liked tea-making facilities in room but because we could get hot drinks in restaurant it wasn't really a problem.
