The location of the hotel is not as great as I had thought. Although it is walking distance from many public transport options, you have to walk a fair way to anything worth seeing. It isn't really situated in the nicest part of town. For a 3* the services is very limited. It must have just made a 3 star rating. Friends of ours stayed at the 3 star hotel Excelsior just down the road and it was miles better than hotel Stern. All and all I think this hotel is a bit pricey for what it offers.

Location No front desk reception. The main door is closed all time and you have to carry your key with you so can not recieve any thing from any body if you are not in the hotel

The boss of the hotel is very warm heart, tell us how to find the way to the destination and tell us how to hit nuts even! Like good friends! Well, he charge us 40euro for extra bed instead of 20euro marked on the website.

Very close to Altstad (walking), the old part of the city and from the Metro stop ( only 10 minutes). The personell of the hotel was good. No international tv (only german), there's no elevator and if you have heavy luggage could be difficult to reach the 3rd floor.

The location of the Hotel Stern is perfect : close from the city center, the Rhein, and the U-Bahn for the Messe (Fair). The price is very good compare to the confort, amability of the staff and services. Staff speaks german, english, polish and french... And the breakfast is amazing !! Maybe the noise of the metro on the street when you get a room on this side.

The only that is good for this hotel is the location.Is not a hotel with three stars , no alevator ,some moush into the ceiling, money and result is not parrallel.

auf meinen Wunsch erhielt ich statt des nach vorne liegenden Einzelzimmers ein nach hinten gelegenes Appartement, da dort die Strassenbahn vorbeifährt, war das ausgesprochen freundlich! Daher kann ich über die eigentlichen Hotelzimmer nichts sagen, aber der Eingangsbereich und die von außen einsehbaren Zimmer im Hochpaterre machten einen angenehmen Eindruck.

Het meisje dat ons ontbijt regelde was super vriendelijk Bij aankomst moesten wij ons sleutel gaan ophalen bij een nachtwinkel om de hoek , hotel was verlaten

Sehr schöner Eingangsbereich. Toilette zu nah an der Badtür, normales sitzen nicht möglich. Doppelzimmer gebucht, Betten waren auseinander und haben keinen Rahmen, die Matratzen verrutschen. Türklinke einschl. Klinkenblatt und schloss waren locker. Keine Informationen über einen Safe, öffnungszeiten Rezeption etc.

Een vriendelijk hotel. We waren er eerder dan 14:00 uur maar mochten alvast onze spullen op de kamer zetten en de auto in de garage. De andere ochtend mochten we, na een heel goed verzorgd ontbijt, onze auto nog wat langer laten staan zodat we nog even de stad in konden gaan. Prima bevallen dus!!

Vriendelijk ontvangst en goed ontbijt. Werden redelijk vroeg wakker gebeld met de vraag hoe laat we zouden vertrekken ivm de auto die in de garage geparkeerd stond!?
