“ Good location in the town centre, easy walking distance to the S-Bahn station (around 10 min) from where you can very comfortably reach the Munich city centre or Airport. The hotel was recently refurbished and clean, the restaurant was alright, also the breakfast was good and rich. ”

Only 14 km from Munich city centre, this family-run, 3-star hotel in Ismaning offers contemporary-style rooms with cable TV, and international food. Each room at the Stern Hotel Soller features a telephone, flat-screen TV and a modern bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms include a balcony. Wi-Fi internet is available in all parts of the hotel, and complementary hot drinks can be prepared by guests in the Coffee Lounge. The daily breakfast buffet at the Soller includes various types of bread, homemade jams and a large selection of teas. Local beers are served at the bar or on the terrace in summer. The Ismaning S-Bahn (city rail) station is an 8-minute walk from the Stern Hotel Soller. Direct trains run to Munich Central Station in 28 minutes, and to Munich Airport in 15 minutes. Good price and good service! The breakfast is great! Stern hotel is ideal chepest choice to visit munich! You can reach marien platz in 25 minutes by metro S8! The train station is very close, reached in five minutes by walk! Ismaing is a little boring village

Not too much. Day manager was very good. Our room was very dark with no ventilation. To try to ventilate the room we opened a patio door when sleeping. We were attacked by hundreds of mosquitoes and visciously bitten. We made it through the night and advised staff the next day. They said nothing could be done and because of tight booking we couldn't be moved. Nothing was done to alleviate the mosquito problem. We went and purchased a fan for the second night. We later noticed the cleaning staff had cans of raid for bugs which may have helped with the mosquito problem. No help from management at all.

Stayed here for the champions league final. Great location, as close to train station. Very quiet village. Only problem was I booked two twin rooms, and I ended up with 1 twin and 1 double room.

Freundliches Personal, relativ großes Zimmer mit Balkon und gutes Frühstück. In 12min kann man den Bahnhof erreichen und hat von da aus Anbindung an Garching und München. Restaurant mit gutbürgerlicher Küche ist im Hotel. Wifi ist kostenpflichtig und funktioniert nicht, d.h. ich habe 10 EUR für eine zeitlich begrenzte Internetverbindung bezahlt, die zu instabil war, sogar einfache Webseiten mit Bildern zu laden und über die ich keine E-Mail mit 35kb Anhang versenden konnte (trotz Umwegen über VPN). Nur einfacher Text funktionierte. Das ist heute nicht mehr angemessen und auch hinderlich.

Der Bahnhof ist per Fußmarsch nur gute 10 Minuten entfernt. Die Anbindung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist sehr gut. Wir sind nur mit der Bahn unterwegs gewesen. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war renoviert und für vier Nächte ausreichend. Beim Frühstück können wir auch nicht meckern. Apotheke, Restaurantes und Netto in direkter Nähe. Den Duschvorhang nach innen in die Wanne hängen lassen,ansonsten droht eine Überschwemmung. Aber diesen Fehler macht man nur einmal....

Gut eingerichtets Zimmer und Bad. Reichhaltiges, gutes, Frühstück . Nach 23:00 UHr kein Getränkeausschank oder die Möglichkeit Getränke zu kaufen, da es auf dem Zimmer auch keine Minibar gab. Parkmöglichkeiten sehr begrenzt.

Die Lage des Hotels in unmittelbarer Nähe zu München. Man ist in einer 1/2 Stunde mit dem Auto problemlos in der Innenstadt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das personal freundlich und die Preise im Restaurant sind mehr als o.K.

Ich war dort wegen eines Fußballspiels des FC Bayern München. Das Hotel bot alles, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigte - äußerst nette Hotelbedienstete, saubere und gut eingerichtete Zimmer und ein reichhaltiges und leckeres Frühstücksbüffet. Ich würde dort nochmal nächtigen.
