Strandhotel Binz

Lovely old hotel built in wood right next to the sea. Took a long time to decide on this hotel given the choice at Binz but was happy with the choice, one of the most attractive hotels in the resort. Breakfast was totally amazing. The fish restraunt downstairs is one of the best locally. For uk travellers some German is needed at Binz, very much a german and scandic resort, we were likley the only uk couple there in July.

A traditional Baltic Spa Hotel situated right by the beach promenade, close to the Kur Hotel and within easy walking distance to the towns main street and and a wide range of restaurants. The hotel has rooms in the old and new part of the hotel. Our room was in the old part of the building and although well furnished, it was small and felt claustrophobic. The breakfast buffet was lavish but got crowded at peak times. Restaurant meals appeared a little expensive.

When booking the accommodation the only room left was a family room, ie a main room with a double bed and a small room with a bunk bed for children which we did not require. We, nevertheless to the room because we wanted to be in the same hotel as German friends of ours who had booked weeks earlier. On arrival we noticed that other, for us more suitable rooms were available but the hotel was not prepared to change.

The very friendly and helpful people......close to the fantastic beach and the food was totally outstanding.....5 Star for sure

Room clean and modern but had no "atmosphere" -- the room and the hotel could be best described as clinical.

No warmth -- the staff seemed to have very little interest in the guests nor much passion for their jobs.

It was covenient to all the facilities that I required. It had an excellent breakfast and the rooms were clean, comfortable and great TV'S.

The location is perfect-just right on the front line of the beach and close to the main shopping and restaurant area! We had a sea view thought we didn't pay for that. The breakfast was great-the best salmon and chocolate croissant we have ever tried.the free wifi in rooms is fast. The standard room is pretty big, always clean, the furniture is new, bathroom is clean. Hotel staff is nice and polite

We have't used the hotel spa so can't tell anything about is. The only thing we didn't like-no foreign (english) tv channels (even the news) and no hotel information card (which is usually in every room) is english. All the rest is awesome!

Mycket ba frukost och hjälpsamt personal. På Spa-avdelningen kan man mycket bra koppla av i bastu och vilorumet

Tyvärr fick jag en helkroppmassage som gjordes helt oprofessionellt på alla sätt - det var bortkastade pengar! Det gjorde mig besvigen! Personal var inte utbildat på massage. Det får inte hända på ett hotel av denna prisklass. Därför väljer jag hotelet inte igen. Spa är en av det viktigaste delar när jag söker efter ett hotel.

Alles war sehr gut.

Die Lage ist top, schöner Wellnessbereich mit super Anwendungen, leckeres Frühstück

Das gebuchte Zimmer entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen. Der Meerblick war wunderbar.

Unser Auto wurde nicht in die Tiefgarage eingeparkt. Das Gepäck wurde nicht abgenommen.

Bad viel zu klein, Beim öffnen des Fensters war im Innenrahmen Schimmel zu sehen.

In der Werbung wurde kostenloser WLAN-Zugang in allen Räumen versprochen. Leider war der WLAN-Zugang aus dem Hotelzimmer heraus nicht möglich. Trotz meines Hinweises an das Hotelpersonal hierauf wurde der Zustand in den 5 Aufenthaltstagen nicht abgestellt.

- Spuren von toten Mücken/Spinnen an Decken und Wänden - Bad und Dusche wurden nicht komplett gereinigt - Seifenspender war bei Anreise schon leer und wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes nicht einmal nachgefüllt - Im Restaurant "Fischmarkt" werden die Speisen komplett ungewürzt serviert (hätte ich Halbpension gebucht, hätte ich mich geärgert. Ein fertig zubereitetes Essen am Tisch zu würzen ist nur schwer machbar und aus meiner Sicht in einem 4-Sterne Hotel nicht angemessen)

Binz hat etwas den Charme eines Rüganer Seebades verloren, viel neu, zu wenig natürlich

Es war einfach ein perfektes Wochenende! Sehr schöne, geschmagvolle Ausstattung in modernem Design. Sehr freundliches und professionelles Personal. Ein wunderschöner Wellnessbereich und ein tolles Frühstückbuffet.

Sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage Leckeres Frühstück

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt an der Promenade nur wenige Schritte bis zur Seebrücke. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um Rügen zu erkunden. Binz immer wieder gerne und auf jeden Fall im Strandhotel. Einen großen Dank noch einmal an Herrn Wolff der sehr zuvorkommend auf meine Wünsche eingegangen ist und uns somit den Urlaub noch angenehmer gestalltet hat.
